    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

I disagree, it has nothing to do with being a loyal customer. The NRD is essentially what provides the business (in this case, JazzInc) with some of the capital to start producing the product (cost of development, factory contracts, etc., etc.). If a company is charging an NRD, it's because it's...

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

Are there that many purchasers that don't understand the concept of an NRD? Not sure why there is any expectation of JazzInc to treat NRDs any different from any other company (collectible or otherwise). Sure there is a risk to the buyer, that the product for whatever reason is unsatisfactory...

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

Agreed, no saving FB. And I understand that you need to be in love with the final product - I'm that way with other hobbies, just not with this one (I still have my older SS Bond figures, and GI Joe). In my opinion, the Jazz Inc 89 does already outdo and outclass all the other versions. And...

    (y) Let me know when you find some company to make a decent T1 endoskeleton.... (if ever)

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

PS,. I'm in no way looking to gatekeep the hobby. However, from what I've seen on the Group, many of the purchasers of the 89 Batbmobile are relatively new to the hobby, and their experience is limited. So many complaints about time frame, shipping prices, and "entitled" expectations, not due to...

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

Actually a-dev, I wasn't really referring to you or Nick specifically. I've seen a number of facebook posts, where people say "I'm just going to halt my payments, until I see more in-hand pics/videos", essentially suggesting that they will make JazzInc wait for payments that they had already...

Sideshow: The Clint Eastwood Legacy Collection (1:6 figures)

At first I thought it was the over-exaggerated squint, like on the MWNN figure. But in this case, I think the issue with the sculpt is the mouth/chin area. I think they should have went with a partly open mouth, like when he's talking out of the side of his mouth like he does for most of the film...

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

There are these types of "imperfections" on all of JazzInc pieces (as well as on Hot Toys, ThreeZero, Enterbay, Blitzway, Sideshow, etc.). I've been very happy with my 1/6 collection in general, regardless. JazzInc / Joost never said this would be "perfect". They have produced exactly what they...

1/6 Hot Toys - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back - Chewbacca

I think it's ridiculous that anyone considers this an "artisan" release... just because there is faux hair on the head? The reason the actual "artisan" releases are such, is because of the challenges of adding fake hair to a plastic face&head sculpt and making it look good. Almost the entire...

ThreeZero RAMBO: First Blood Part II - 1/6th scale figure

So far, it looks great! Pretty sure it's the same body as the Rambo 3 figure (as expected). Interestingly, they did not provide both short and long neck pegs when using the jacket.

Just received it. Will post a couple of quick pics

The Crow reboot with Bill Skarsgard

Really too bad... I thought the casting choice was very good. As much as I like the original Crow film, it was not a particularly good comic adaptation, as it was really very different from the book.

Sideshow: The Clint Eastwood Legacy Collection (1:6 figures)

I feel like the issue with all of the Sideshow sculpts, is that they are kind of overselling the squint. I'm very happy with my SS Blondie, and I know that the Clint squint is almost a trademark for Eastwood, but some of these sculpts would have looked much better if they weren't squinting so hard.

1/6 Hot Toys - Robocop 3 - Robocop Collectible Figure.

It's an odd figure, but looks great in the collection. The color is not ideal, but it's actually surprisingly accurate to many scenes in Robocop 3 (which it is supposedly from?).

1/6 Hot Toys - Robocop 3 - Robocop Collectible Figure.

Thanks for that comparison. I'll be happy enough. Would have preferred a battle-damaged helmet to go with the chest, but the biggest improvement (over paint) would have been matte finish on the hand/forearm. I never bought the first one, so I was always going to purchase this regardless.

1/6 Hot Toys - Robocop 3 - Robocop Collectible Figure.

I'm still holding out some hope... even Sideshow commented on their own video. The thumbnail image definitely looks darker than the unboxing. Here is the comment: Pinned by Sideshow Collectibles @CollectSideshow 8 hours ago This Hot Toys Robocop figure does have visible blue and purple...

ThreeZero RAMBO: First Blood Part II - 1/6th scale figure

Me too... but the other 2 figures turned out great (even if the body wasn't accurate for First Blood). Both are miles better than the Stallone Shop figure. I pre-ordered immediately.

    Action Toys - Starzinger/Spaceketeers

Because I'd been waiting for a couple of years for Action Toys to finally put them up for pre-order (think they first previewed them in 2020?), I actually had forgotten about them. So I missed the pre-order almost EVERYWHERE. Finally found them on one site that still had them... hopefully I'll...
