1/6 Hot Toys - MMS350 - Captain America: Civil War - Captain America Collectible Figure

I was thinking that also. I don’t think it comes in the form of CA being too tall though. I think generally HT makes their female figures a little small. Sometimes it works, such as for BW for a 5’3” ScarJo. But not for a 5’7” BL or Daisy Ridley.

1/6 Hot Toys DX19 - The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure

Oh damn, lforigno back in the house. :lol I still have his cape on my DX12. As far as this figure goes, it actually turned out better than I thought it would. It looks pretty imposing and has a lot of shelf presence. However, while I do like TDK films, I’m not an avid enough fan to care to...

1/6 MMS216 - Man of Steel: General Zod Collectible Figure

Same here. I have three DCEU film displays: MoS: (Supes, Zod, Jor-El) BvS: (Batman, Supes, WW, KM Bats, Armored Bats) WW: (JL WW with cloak, TA WW)

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS350 - Captain America: Civil War - Captain America Collectible Figure

Nice pics. Out of the movie suit Cap figures, CW Cap is my favorite. I like the suit design and prefer the fabric over the vinyl. It looks nicer and more accurate to me.

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

The more and more I see images of this, the likeness of the sculpt is growing on me. Suit wise I prefer the DX07 so far, but maybe when this releases and I see how the final product looks, I may consider getting the regular version. This is my favorite version of Luke in all of SW, so perhaps...

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

I see other people have noticed the boots as well :lol TaliBane’s assessment of them, and the figure as a whole, is pretty spot on imo. The boots are weird looking to me and look nothing like how they actually did. The DX07’s boots look more accurate to my eye and are more in-line to what the...

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

I’ve noticed that HT seems to be watering down the whole “DX” meaning lately. Lately a lot of stuff seems to be “DX,” and they’ll create two separate versions: one regular and one deluxe. I thought the point was to include it all in one set, hence the meaning of DX? A once in awhile package that...

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

This looks nice. Glad they finally released it for those who want a Bespin Luke and don’t want to pay DX07 prices. First impression is that I think first offering was much more lucrative though for what it came with. I also think the BD DX07 version captured a Bespin Duel Luke portrait a bit...

1/6 MMS216 - Man of Steel: General Zod Collectible Figure

A great pairing for MoS Superman, or even BvS Superman. Imo the MoS line is one of HT’s best efforts. Figures hold up very well and in some respects are better than some current stuff they put out. They all have good shelf presence.

    1/6 Hot Toys - MMS573 - Back to the Future (1985) - Marty McFly (2.0) & Einstein Collectible Figure

For Marty by himself, I would probably go with the v2. Paired with Doc, I’d go with v1 because I think the sculpt expression matches/pairs better. The pics shared look great, but eh, clothing wise I’d agree I don’t see a head and shoulders improvement to upgrade if you already have the v1. To...

    Hot Toys Grand Moff Tarkin

DX07 and ANH Han and Chewie would have been my guesses for the top two most expensive SW two packs. I’m a bit surprised Tarkin and Vader is more valuable than H&C. I would have thought many people already had the MMS279 Vader, so the Vader figure in the two pack wouldn’t really be sought after...

    Hot Toys Grand Moff Tarkin

Excellent shot! While a lot of people invariably think of Darth Vader as being the villain of SW, and rightfully so, I think Tarkin was the main villain in ANH. Him for ANH, Vader for ESB, and Palpatine for RotJ.

Hot Toys - TMS033 & TMS034 - The Mandalorian: Boba Fett (Regular and Deluxe versions)

Received the regular version over the weekend. I like this look for BF best, so this will be my BF in my overall SW collection. Got him paired up with Mando. Contemplating PO’ing TM Luke as well to complete a modest TM display.

1/6 Hot Toys 1/6 Avengers: Endgame Capt America

CW for me. It’s far from perfect, but it looks decent. It’s also my favorite suit. I like stealth also, but CW to me seems like a nice medium between his final four suits.

1/6 Hot Toys - Infinity War - Iron Spider

Recently picked this up off the secondary market, and he’s a really cool figure. I like the suit material, and think the body and height accurately capture TH’s physique in the suit pretty well. It’s my favorite MCU Spider-Man suit and with it having the most appearances, makes sense to serve as...

1/6 Hot Toys DX19 - The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure

A bit of an overreaction. What “reasoned discourse” were you looking to have? 🤔

1/6 Hot Toys DX19 - The Dark Knight Rises - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure

No need to justify yourself. If you think every facet of TDK trilogy is the gold standard for all things Batman and everything else is inferior, that’s cool. As for the DX19 sculpt, it does appear to have sharper features. However, not sure that would warrant spending close to $300 for an...

1/6 Zack Snyder's Justice League - 1/6th scale Knightmare Batman and Superman Collectible

So if your standard is that anything that pertains to films the films should be discussed in the film section, why did you feel the urge to jump right in the film discussion in the figure thread? Sure you’re not the one who brought it up, but you could have, you know, just scrolled and ignored.
