I also would have purchased old (final panel) Bruce. It would have at least been nice for Hot Toys to include an unmasked head with this Batman since they decided not to release it through HONO.

I am guessing the desire to recoup the cost of a new body is the reason this is a Hot Toys and not a HONO figure. If Hot Toys continues to make more comic figures (which I am all for) is it worth it for them to have a HONO line?

I am receiving my Dark Hero (TNBA Batman) today and wonder if there will now be accessory packs for new gloves, boots and masked sculpts. Depending on the price, I might end up picking up a Superman drape cape body and use the old body to kitbash a Bruce Wayne figure.

Great question on the eyes. I noticed that as well and asked them that on IG. We’ll see if they respond. I preferred the blue eyes but understand some people wanted it to be more accurate to the source material.

I have their Superman and had no QC issues. They use their own body for the animated proportions and no joint issues. Paint and sewn goods were perfect on mine as well.
