Looks like Mr. Incredible dressed as the dark knight. I think they fumbled the head sculpt. It got too exaggerated on the animated proportions.

Less so that its too low, but rather the eyes are too wide and big if the size of the eyes was smaller it would be way more accurate. Along with that, make the chin/jaw less wide as well. however with that being said I am still very happy about this and it looks accurate enough that I can live with it, I'll chalk it up to artist interpretation

Yes. It’s a really nice looking figure, and I’m looking forward to having it in hand, but it is inaccurate to TNBA: Head sculpt (cowl) and gloves most notably.

I wonder if someone will sell a more accurate headsculpt. other than that the figure looks great. Pretty excited to get mine. Anyone know how it will compare to the mondo BTAS series? wondering if it would look off (still tempted to start buying into that figure line but haven't bit the bullet)

I think it looks pretty good. Looks like the figure isn’t available through Kit currently and I didn’t pre-order.

Yeah, I imagine. The Superman is available and Wonder Woman is up for pre-order. I’d prefer Batman from TAS personally.

Yep.
It's tricky to get it right, but the ol Kenner figure did it right.
The MAFEX TNBA actually did a great sculpt of both the masked and unmasked head.
the picture from @Dave_W made my point very clear.. the eyes are too low on the masked head. Even if it is smaller, the position is just too low.
He won't be able to see.
Yep, this mask is more suitable for Daredevil!

IMO, the sculpt looks nothing like the new animated series.
The head sculpt for "Dark Hero" is definitely BTAS styled rather than TNBA.
It also seems that the head sculpts for this figure are all copies/recasts of existing sculpts, from the old Kotobukiya BTAS statue that had swappable heads and faceplates. It seems S-Hero copied them exactly - swappable heads and faceplates and all.

I did send S-Hero an email suggesting they offer a different unmasked head for Shadow Hero to better reflect BTAS since they solicited both with the same head. They thanked me for the advice but I wouldn’t count on them making a change. It would be a pleasant surprise though.
After my Shadow Hero arrives and if there is no unmasked sculpt change , I might end up displaying Dark Hero unmasked and Shadow Hero with his mask on.
