Mondo: Spider-Man The Animated Series: Spider-Man

I dunno. I think this Spider-Man looks really good. Looks exactly like the cartoon. His face always looked weird in the cartoons. Venom is perfection. That is an insanely good looking, accurate figure, you guys.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

All of these have eye rolling system. Now that I look at them, they don’t look bad. I mean, I guess it’ll work for Pfeiffer Catwoman, too. It would be amazing if Jazzinc pulls it off! I still have a huge respect for Jazzinc to actually put out effort to make Pfeiffer Catwoman figure happen...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Yeah, her eyelids usually lay heavy on the top of her irises in the movie. Wide open, static sculpted eyelids would probably throw off her likeness.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Eye rollers are great but for a character like this, she needs sultriness and that usually works with eyes. If you add eye rollers, her eyes would look too wide open. It’ll almost look round. She would need almond shaped eyes. Know what that means for eye rollers? She can only look left and...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

That’s the head I want, but it seems like we’ll never get this one now. Also, I think eye rollers won’t work like that. If you want her eyes to look up like in the photo, then you’d have to also lift the eyelids. The sculpted eyelids in left pic are too low to recreate this look, because if you...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

I know I’m beating a dead horse, but the likeness will be gone if Jazzinc decides to add the eye rolling system. These photos are of the heads without the eye rollers, and they look amazing.

Hot Toys 1992 Batman Returns 2.0

Black turtleneck is the best one.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

ALL OF THEM! 1, 2, 3, 4! In all seriousness, I’d take out 4, but then again, I’d take out 2. I think 1, 3, and 4 would be best, even though I think the tongue sculpt is really awesome. I wouldn’t be mad if 2 wins, tbh. Neutral would be really good if Joost decided to do the eye rolling...

Hot Toys 1992 Batman Returns 2.0

Looks like a much better figure than ‘89, but I still prefer ‘89 design from the movie. Sad. It looks like this one has two different people. The sculpt of the lips are different between masked and unmasked. Unmasked Keaton has the same lips as ‘89, in case anyone hasn’t noticed. Hey, if the...

Hot Toys: Batman 85 Years Announcement Speculation

If they’re going with movie stuff, then the panther suit from Batman Forever would be amazing. For comic book, I’d go with blue/grey Hush Batman, but SSR already made a good one, so maybe a Troika Batman. Something that’s similar to Keaton Batman, but it has cloth on the body, not rubber...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

Can’t fix avocado textured suit. Even if you manage to fix it by smoothing out the texture, it’ll still look so bad. I tried to like this figure in the last few days, really, I really tried. It’s so bad. What makes this body worst is it looks like they enlarged the body by making it look too...

Christopher Reeve Superman Bust Statue W.I.P.

A lot of failed attempts with my sculpts sometimes. Happened in the past and still happens now. Today, l wanted to create a smoother chest sculpt so he wouldn’t look too muscular, then I wanted to try using a sculpted or raised S shield. I should’ve made the clay film a lot thinner. For some...

Christopher Reeve Superman Bust Statue W.I.P.

Hey, this is Brandon Nielsen. I’m an artist and I want to show you my progress with Christopher Reeve Superman bust statue. Hopefully I can get this whole thing done before the end of this month. It’s a work in progress. This is what it looks like now. I had to do just basic stuff on the...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

I think there’s some way to salvage HT’s faceplates. There’s a small gap right underneath the nose on the neutral one, but the bunny one has upper lip pushed too far up. There's gotta be some way to fix them. I put these 2 faceplates in warm water (they were secured inside ziploc bag while in...

Jaxon is not bad, especially if I like his faceplate work as well. $65 for a wired version, too?

Also watch for wrist joints. Saw TWO reviews that broke Batman’s wrists by accident. Kinda makes sense they offered spare wrist joints in the box. I know why they broke. They’re incredibly tight. The hinge motion is fine, but the swivel is the tough one to move.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

I think it’s weird that people think she’s sexualized. I don’t think of her that way at all. I don’t find her sexy, but I find her iconic. I grew up looking at this as my quintessential Catwoman. Maybe I’m the weird one.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Also I think it’s unfair to NOT include the stoic neutral head in the deluxe if the standard version has the neutral head. If they HAVE to use only 3, then I’d take out the 👅 head, even though I like that one, too. Plus, if the painter painted the eyes to look up a little more on the neutral...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

I think Unreal finally got it. Maybe if Unreal decides to make more faceplate expressions, then I might jump in. I mean, HT should’ve made some really cool expressions and they just didn’t do it. Right now, I think Jaxon wins me over just cuz the 2.0’s cowl texture matches with the avocado...
