    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

Very similar to how almost every company has something against the Returns suit (until VERY recently) and the Panther Suit from Forever. Not enough representation of any of those currently.

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

It seems every company has something against Begins, I'll give you that. Weird, because it's the best of the Nolan trilogy and has the best Batsuit design by a mile.

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

There are literally half a dozen Bale Batman on Sideshow right now in 1/6 AND 1/4 scale... Cherry picking the absolute worse one doesn't negate that.

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

If I don't cancel it. There's still that part of me that wants to, to send Hot Toys a message. My fear is they call the bluff, let this release dry up, and close down shop on '89 Batman going forward. This is the kind of thing that has bred such a resentment in me towards Nolan. How you can't go...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

^I totally planned to dangle Joker off the back. That's like the only reason I still haven't cancelled this mess of a release...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

I'm torn on what to do. Part of me wants to cancel my pre-order. Part of me wants to keep it JUST to ensure I have the Gargoyle base. And in the back of my mind, I'm not sure I can justify $400 for a display piece that I don't even have the ideal piece to display it WITH (meaning DX08; I only...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

I love the cowl and the proportions on it. The face-plates DO look more glossy and lose some of the Keaton-likeness, and that's depressing, but I could live with it because the eyes are so striking and accurate. The gargoyle diorama was the major selling point for me, but I am still so depressed...

Mars Toys 1/6 scale 1989 Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger)

The white cathedral look is the most sensible as it pairs best with Batman and Joker in their most iconic scenes together. The green/teal museum dress would be the most dynamic on its own (and would pair well with Mars' Museum Joker sculpt). The Wayne party dress is hideous and is almost...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

My understanding is that you all pitched a FIT over the size of the Hell Here piece and he scrapped it for the stupid kitty litter idea...

    Hot Toys MMS 692 + 693 BATMAN (1989) 1/6 scale Batman 2.0

How would we go about making a stink about the texture? I pre-ordered this the moment I was able to (with the diorama), and... Man, it is a let-down.

Mars Toys 1/6 Penguin (Burgess Meredith)

I have a weird feeling we'll get Forever Two-Face and this Penguin BEFORE '66 Riddler...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

No, we're not. Ivy is a way more dynamic and interesting design... Oy, so many bad takes in this thread, it's hard to keep up!

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Company's name literally has "dioramas" right in it... Clearly, it's something Jazzinc. is going to care about.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

PLEASE no. The apartment background is actually film-accurate and Hell Here is way more iconic. These bases are, frankly, cat-crap. WHYYYY are fans so insistent on these types of display pieces that don't represent ACTUAL moments from the source material?!

Mars Toys 1/6 Batman Forever Riddler

The tongue-sculpt is the winner of the two for me, butttt... I'm not in love with either, if I'm being honest. The Sensation figure posted in the Two-Face thread has a much better likeness (and is MUCH more costly), but I feel Mars has the better tailoring on the outfit (and more accurate color...

Mars Toys 1/6 Batman Forever Two-Face

The Batman Forever style guide specifies that for merchandising, the shade of his suit is "PMS 228." Which is a, "medium-dark shade of magenta-pink." I think the Warner Bros. store statue from 1995 uses this color and the recently-announced McFarlane figure seems to use it, too. But it has more...

Mars Toys 1/6 Penguin (Burgess Meredith)

People were complaining the top hat was a shade too dark... So, back to the drawing board, scrap the whole thing!

Mars Toys 1/6 Batman Forever Riddler

Got my invoice yesterday morning! Excited to finally get this one in-hand. Hope we get Two-Face in a quicker turnaround!

Mars Toys 1/6 Batman Forever Two-Face

This looks fantastic and the level of detail really bowled me over. He has his two wristwatches! He has his promotional photo revolvers AND his chrome-.22! And his Neon Yin-Yang tommy gun! The left shoe has the skull buckles and skull boot tip! And the little Halloween Devil mask is really fun...
