Just wanted to say that that image above me looks better than any shot I've seen of the HT Begins bat. Even with the high belt.

Mine showed up a few days ago spot free but with a small snag in the fabric on the front. Luck of the draw.

Took a few quick extra pics of my vader. Still really liking it. Lighting playing some funny tricks with the helmet mouth/grill. Quick cameo from a sandtrooper as well.

Not a whole lot more than what you see.

Wasnt planning on getting this but then I did. Disappointed in some of the inaccuracies but still think hes a damn good figure. Mine still needs some more futzing but its getting there.

Crazy amounts of accuracy has been achieved on these 1/6 scale figures by customizers and big names alike. HT prides themselves in making accurate representations of beloved characters and they have set the bar themselves. Is it really too much to expect what is expected of them?

The fett 1/4 scale is much easier to pose once the fat suit is removed. I had that and the 1/6 scale and found the 1/4 scale to be more detailed and have better proportions and presence. Paint is also much better than on the sideshow PF.

God you guys freak out over everything. The mark XLII's stand is similar and yes it can take off the extra platform/height extension. You actually have to "build" the stand. Im farily certain you will be able to do that with this one. The tall stand on the XLII is more stable than youd think...

You guys are arguing over make believe fantasy characters.

The 1/4 scale NECA arkham bats actually looks really good and Id even say better than HT's 1/6 scale offering. Not everything NECA does is top flight but they're no slouch especially at the price point. Remember we're all ultimately buying dollies all the same.

The only time I truly see rooted hair looking great is when its done by some of the insanely talented customizers around. Adam gu, owen1313, etc. Those guys work magic on a lot of figures. However Ive seen too many HT figures with ruined likenesses thanks to some very crummy, hard to futz rooted...

Not gonna argue with you there. I still feel this is a good middle ground figure though, although it certainly doesnt carry a middle ground price. If this was the only Begins piece around at this scale I'd be pretty stoked about it.

It's like hot toys fully gave you and advertised the option to do that or something.
