2 broken tusks, cracked neck collar, split pelvis... fresh out of the box. Replacement head tusk missing. All the plastic looks very thin and brittle to me. This one has left me pretty disapointed so far to say the least...

Well said. And a very sensible response. These things should have a way longer shelf life, especially at the prices being paid. Even if only 5 were reported now, that number will exponentially increase with time. No doubt.

I didn't mean to put some off of getting the SS version, only that for me having the first version I wouldn't want to display the newer one with the flight stand...so there is no benefit to getting another. I think a good bit of the appeal on that one is displaying jumping with the cape open...

Tailoring is terrible. I still like the back of the jacket, but would never display it from the back. Pants are way too baggy, jacket waist needs to be more form fitting. I would have made the purchase at that price but they have to make some big changes.

Love the tailoring on the back of the jacket. With Sideshow's pricing model I will stick with the Hot Toys movie version which I probably paid less for than this including the bike. What we see does look nice though.
