v1 has a slighty better likeness and was offered in sculpted and rooted options so you could choose which version you prefer to buy... this v2 seems a 0.5 in comparison... less options, less accessories, worse likeness. I think that's the worst Asmus lotr in years...

these are some pictures of my rooted v1... personally i can't see any improvement, in terms of likeness, on the new one... only painting seems a bit better on the v2.

Some seller undervalue the doll value and pay custom in advance so you don't have to pay custom fees... Asmus doesn't do that anymore and innaddiction fedex overcharge custom fee brcause they absolve that. Unluckily sideshow has the same problem, so i prefer to buy directly from asmus at least i...

I think that Asmus great fault with this release was that they didn't make cimmediatly clear that this was such a limited release. If they clearly labelled the item as 'very limited release' or 'only 500 avaible' people at least have the option to choose how to deal with it... personally i...
