EXO-6 Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Figures

I think it's a tendency with mostly male figures partly but not entirely due to body to head proportions. Not a big deal in most instances but with some figures, like with Bones (especially TMP Bones) who should also have a much narrower torso it's very noticeable. Sulu's head is just too small...

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

To answer my own question, mine would be QMx Kirk V1 for question 1 (with Captain's chair if possible). For question 2, an improved EXO-6 version of TOS Kirk in the same iconic gold shirt. I like keepin' it simple.

EXO-6 Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Figures

Another issue which plagues almost all EXO-6s is that the heads tend to be too small.

Totally agree! This ultra-generic smiley Kirk by no means reflects any worthwhile moment from TWOK—or any movie in fact. At least not one that is worth a sculpt representing the intensity of Admiral Kirk. At least maybe a second head in an away jacket version like von Curdles mentioned?

EXO-6 Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Figures

Most people post perfectly decent photos with their "crappy" cell phones. At least for our comparison purposes. As with any camera all it takes is a little bit of care with lighting. We are fortunate to live in an age when cell phones are more than adequate cameras. Unless you're Ansel Adams.

Alright, I take it you disagree. That's fine.

Same here. I ordered direct from them only once. The shipper arrived looking like it had been attacked by Hitchcock's Birds!

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

Two very official and scientific poll questions: 1) During a zombie apocalypse, if you had to possess just ONE Star Trek action figure that you could safely carry around in a special bubble wrap contraption in your backpack while fending off zombies—and having been forced to abandon all the...

I'm probably going to pass. Certainly not pre-ordering him. I don't see him selling out anytime soon.

Indeed, I think this is the best Kirk head likeness of all that I have seen, including the EXO-6 TMP, and it really captures the vigor, determination, strength and confidence of Jame T. Kirk. The body and the uniform, meh. I think the V1 body on Kirk is better. V2 made him look wimpy. I don't...

Well, if you have them both, how about a snapshot of each noggin for comparison?

Oh man, that's right. In fact he's wearing it almost at hip hugger level. Don't get how something that much off happens.

    What Spock is that?

Hmm, for me it's the opposite. In fact QMx Kirk head sculpt is not bad. At least the prototype pics, I don't have the actual figs. The bodies, forget about it.
