While I disagree it’s just your taste. I’m happy that films can differ from go lucky coloring books with happy/heroic endings. It’s what keeps them, and art in general interesting. Imagine if every drawing you you saw was a family holding hands outside of their home done in crayons, like ones...

True, but I also think execs see Reeve’s sequel as not a gamble. They’ve put their faith in his vision, Penguin getting a spinoff and doing well just confirms that to me.

I think it will, it’s been liked by a lot of folks, was successful and The Penguin show is getting its flowers from fans.
