Hot Toys The Dark Knight Joker DX/Artisan 1/6 Scale Figure

Yeah I don't doubt that there are improvements possible, some probably very easy or obvious to do. I'm just saying, there is not a definitive version, only your definitive version. I think my obsession over ESB Vader and getting every tiny detail correct rivals your obsession over Ledger Joker...

Hot Toys The Dark Knight Joker DX/Artisan 1/6 Scale Figure

I think this is what most of the conversation boils down to, and it's where most disagree with you. There is no definitive version out there because (I believe) there is no such thing. You want perfection, but that doesn't exist. There are only approximations. The only way to get a "perfect"...

    Senfi83's Star Wars Customs (1/6)

That's too bad. But I can totally relate - I abandoned quite a few projects over the years due to lack of motivation. If it helps, I think your Jabba and Emperor have the potential to be the best 1:6 versions out there once you complete them! What do you use to sculpt BTW?

Did you ever paint this Emperor?

Hot Toys DX46: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - T-800 (Battle Damaged Version 2.0)

Makes sense to me. Looking at screenshots, the exposed T-800 skull was not chrome, but more of a polished metal, heavily weathered. Whereas the T-1000 is liquid metal that reflects like chrome.

    1/6 Hot Toys MMS699 & MMS700 ROTJ Darth Vader

When I eventually start working on my custom ANH Vader using the TMG 3D prints I'm going to use a leather suit. But I'm wondering how good this set will be for that. It does indeed look quite baggy, so I'd probably have to retailor it. And how much do the 1/6 custom sets from 2ouble8ight and...

Hot Toys The Dark Knight Joker DX/Artisan 1/6 Scale Figure

Just checked my InArt. He's standing a bit wide and has his head tilted down, but he's close to 30 cm, so 12 inches. Standing straight he's probably a few mm above 30 cm. But if Heath was 1.85 m (according to Google), with shoes around 1.86, that should make him 31 cm at 1/6 scale - a tad under...

    Agonistes' Star Wars customs

Yeah I think here in the forum he only did one run back then, and then disappeared. I wasn't in that run unfortunately, but I tracked him down on Facebook a few years ago and he sent me my (already paid for) helmets! So it all worked out in the end and we now keep in touch regularly. The...

    Agonistes' Star Wars customs

Ooh, what stormtrooper helmets are those? Solo_bones? Nice to see you more active in the collecting game again. I bought them from a Dutch webshop, but these are the exact same ones...

    Agonistes' Star Wars customs

I had a very productive sculpting session yesterday. Sculpting the tusk tubes was a big mental block, and I'm glad I'm over it. I also felt my confidence and skills in sculpting with milliput increasing. The silicone brushes were a game changer for, it allows me to do super fine work. I haven't...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

For what it's worth, InArt replied to my FB comment with this: My comment: Their reply: So there is awareness. Let's hope it actually results in an action.

Hot Toys CMS The Dark Knight Returns 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

I'm also not a fan of the TDKR look (I like the comic/story though), so this is not for me. But the bigger picture, that HT is now starting to make DC figures from specific comics and artists is incredibly exciting! This opens the doors for so many possibilities. I just retired my custom Jim...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

I'm happy I went for the steed. I can have my custom Nazgûl ride it and put that InArt leg armor on him. So the InArt can stand on his own with a sword. I really, really hope they fix that hood seam. I see most comments on their video on FB mentioning it as well, I added one as well. It's what...

    Hot Toys MMS774: Terminator 2: Judgment Day: T-1000 2.0

He's not one of my core characters I care about enough to collect/display. Most of my figures can pretty directly be traced back to my favorite figures I had as a child. I "only" had the Kenner white-hot T-1000 back then, and he wasn't one of my favorites. I did have the McFarlane Movie Maniacs...

ENTERBAY 1:4 HD Masterpiece Series-Terminator 2-BD T-800 Full Specs and Pics

Congrats! Luckily the flaking on mine is minimal so far, but I'm also considering getting a leather set next year (after my PO list hopefully gets a bit shorter). I got him during the initial release, but he's still a highlight of my collection.

    1/6 Hot Toys MMS699 & MMS700 ROTJ Darth Vader

I made my custom ROTJ about 4 years ago in true 1:6 scale mostly using kaiyodo and HT parts, so I'm not getting this HT. You can find pictures in my custom thread here: https://www.collectorfreaks.com/threads/agonistes-star-wars-customs.238985/#post-10421048 I made a custom cape and robe myself...

Congrats! Are you planning a photo session? Would love to see him through your lens. I remember how great you made the original SS ANH Vader look.
