Reading this thread, people are a little too passionate about Mezco's interpretation of these characters. It's like those who don't like the figures just can't deal w/ the fact that others really enjoy them. Stop being such haters and get use to the fact Mezco is putting out a quality product...

2016 will be the year 1/12 scale figs (specifically Mezco) begin to take a bite out of the Hot Toys money grab. Many collectors will be content with a 6in figure as long as it has a premium feel similar to HT at a $70ish price.

It's pretty basic, the center of the web is a clear line similar to fishing line but much thicker. I found in the hardware store near the wall hanger supplies. Then the wire is the smallest Guage metal wire I could find. Wrapped it one way down the clear line then back the other way.

The more I posed this figure, the more I enjoy what HT has created with a good articulated spidey. Unfornunately the webs that he comes with really are terrible and replacements web options are not a great solution either. Made some webs myself, what do you think? The scale seems to fit 1/6 i think.

Can't get over how good he looks once pose properly. I take back that he doesn't pop in the detolf!

Sounds like maybe my limited experience with HT's didn't allow me to appreciate all the newly improved aspects of this Spidey. I can appreciate him a little more now knowing Hot Toys history with previous web slingers. Anyone care to share some Spider-Man poses?

Afraid I missed the boat in this capt. Having only been collecting for a short time. Do sold out figures like Aou Cap just continously rise in price or do they eventually come back down close to retail levels? Is that just wishfull thinking? Am I looking at 300+ for this guy from now on?

Good to know the suit is durable enough to pose without permanent damage to it. The figure itself is just a bit underwhelming in hand, it doesnt pop in the detolf loke othere figures. I do like the suit overall and the eyes are great but would like to make new webs for it, the webs it came with...
