e.g. they made the head out of skin toned PVC. So the ground color is skin toned. Then they colored the raised hair parts with a bright color. Thats why it doesnt look real. You can proof it with a magnifying glass....:wink1:

I have undressed the figure because i will customize my figure but after it i will dress her as all original pictures shows her...with "closed" dress and no very visible "nipples"

The funny thing is the reference pictures from Blitzway shows a more "closed" dress then it turned out at the delivered figures. It seems that someone decided to dress the figure in the production process like a porn star..........:cuckoo: Poor Norma Jeane ...............:slap

They used small stripes of double faced adhesive tape to hold the dress in its position. Use heat (e.g. a hair dryer) very cautios (not too hot !!!!, handwarm....) to reduce the adhesive characteristics of the tape. Be very cautios and then it will work out without ripping the dress. The head...

For me "lifelike" is not a wide open area. A "butt" or arms and legs should have normal dimensions. Why i should accept a figure with a much bigger butt and spaghetti arms and legs only because fabric covers it.....? Think of a STORMTROOPER or HULK figure with thin arms or legs ......:lol

Maybe i am wrong with pulling clothes off but i want to know what is under ..... .......:wink1:

This Marilyn figure is amazing. What i dont understand is every male figure from Blitzway is made with the finest detail to its best. Every tear drop was built up as it was in original. But the Marilyn figure is in some details not correct. The face is perfect ... but , the body is "ASIAN"...

I have the same issues. The foot with the peg is slightly raised from the base but the heel has contact to the base. The other foot touches the base only with the front. And i also have that slight wobble issue. And there is a defect in the painting on the foot with the peg (see picture 2) It...

As the strains are so identically but in some areas with less details i guess the 1/6 head is a copy (scanned, resized to 1/6 and 3D-printed) from a Blitzway Monroe head. I could be wrong but there are too much similarities. A talented sculptor would not copy every strain what is really hard...

I am confused. Are "Arnie Kim" and a "K. A. Kim" two different persons? Both working for Blitzway? Both are scuptors?

Here i have a compasion side by side. The 1/6 head is a copy from the Blitzway/Arnie head. Look by yourself, compare the strands of the hair. Plus i layed over both pictures. They are nearly identically. Differences i see e.g. by the teeth.

There are still effordable offers from sellers at the market.

Statues and bust are always limited editions. As the most resin garage kits. The creator or manufacturer produce a specified quantity. Rereleases are rare. Especially for small companies. I have so many examples here in my little collection which were cheap at the time they were released and i...

Of course there is the possibility that Blitzway rereleases every figure they have ever made. Until now they didn't. Their homepage says its "SOLD OUT" If there would be tons of this figure in stock or if it would be still produced then there is no reason for a "SOLD OUT" A rare sold out sought...
