Now Blitzway is showing a "SOLD OUT" at the Marilyn Monroe page .......
A italian dealer emailed me
"at the moment the statue has been released only in Korea. Blitzway is beginning to ship overseas.
It takes 1 month to come here by ship, then it will be here about in middle december after the time at Customs."

So it may be the same with all overseas dealers................ .

Did Blitzway ever make a second run on one of their other figures?

Yesterday there was 9 available. She's going fast. She's stunning. Why can't all statues turn out this good?

I really hope that those photos are just lens distortion because her face looks longer and her hair looks flatter, especially on the sides. The bottom lip is definitely painted to wide in the corners. that's just me nitpicking but it changes the whole look

I think this looks pretty great, but do understand the criticism on the likeness not being quite spot on from some angles, but that is pretty much the case on every piece done of a real person. Plus we usually have an idealized idea in our head of an actor/actress likeness.

I think the criticism is stemming from people reacting to distorted iPhone photos. Every pic that's been taken on a proper camera has been perfection.

How is it that I FINALLY decide to order from BBTS and I miss it by mere HOURS?

Broke down and ordered one earlier today (just under the wire it seems). I was going to wait for the Star Ace 1:6 figure, but the statue is gorgeous and my wife likes Marilyn. Would be nice to see more icons from Blitzway in either 1:6 or 1:4 scale. A Breakfast at Tiffany's Hepburn would have absolutely been an instabuy gift for my wife. Three eras of Elvis--50s, 60s, 70s, would also be great. Would also like to see a classic lineup KISS.
