Honestly you don't *have* to heat/soak/sand anything. Its a case of lining the ball into the socket and brute force; AND LOTS OF PATIENCE. If brute force isn't an option, use a flat hard surface (kitchen table as I've done) or a stable flat desk. Position the figure on a towel or anything to...
