Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

I'd rather have plastic claws if I'm honest. The metal ones look slightly overscale, and I'd hate for the weight of them to hinder posing; pulling the arms down over time, or even constantly toppling the figure forwards.

    Hot Toys C-3PO (ROTJ)

That’s correct afaik. HT have it wrong.

1/6 PLAY TOY P018 Queen (Amidala)

Their after sales is terrible. I had a figure on PO which arrived damaged. They ignored my emails so I opened a Paypal case. Never got my £40 deposit back off them, only the balance payment. NEVER using them again.

Hot Toys is celebrating The Phantom Menace 25th Anniversary and Star Wars: Dark Side? in 2024

I only want an ET from the senate. That’ll do me. 😂

    1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 650D46/651 - Star Wars Episode II: AOTC - C3PO & R2D2 Collectible Figures

Picked one up cheap and went in a different direction. Need to weather and seal yet.

1/6 Hot Toys - TMS120 - Ahsoka series: Captain Enoch

Ah Captain Eunuch or whatever he was called. Dull character with appallingly lazy design, I’ll give this a wide berth.

    Custom Rebel trooper clothes.

Proper Knobelbecher boots would be great if you were going to make them. They are completely different to jackboots. Not only did these Rebels wear them, but they were also worn by the X-wing pilots and TIE pilots, and they were also used in the Echo Base scenes on Hoth in ESB where the...

    1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 650D46/651 - Star Wars Episode II: AOTC - C3PO & R2D2 Collectible Figures

Has anyone taken the R2 apart? I want to switch the legs to make it more accurate to ESB, but can't work out how to get inside it to get them off.

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

I’m calling this done for now; just need the head painted (and to give him a left hand!). Made him a new belt and holster and used the pouches from the Snowspeeder figure as they are more accurate than what come with the Bespin figure. Edit: Thought I’d try the messy hair with the Inigo head...

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

The new Indy figure from HT kinda disproves the theory that they hate HF.

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

I can’t think of much to remedy the pocket flaps, short of finding a suitable close match of the fabric or getting a second DX24/5 set to cut up, other than to make them from scratch. I made a start on n the boots using the HT Hoth boots.

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

I have to disagree with some of those points on the outfit. I have it in hand, and I think the colour is better than the DX07. It's not as light or cream coloured as the ESB proto outfit; it's quite grey as seen in the film. It's just missing the weathering and is a great base to start with IMO...

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

Sorry I didn’t get any when I was unpicking it all. This is it, obviously not stitched back down on my custom. It’s just a Snowspeeder Luke body with narrow bicep arms.

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

Just got my DX Luke in. First thing I did was take a blade to the stitching so I could take the outfit off the figure. It's sewn down the front for the battledress blouse and that is stitched to the trousers to stop it riding up. The trousers are also stitched together at the top, despite there...

1/6 DID E60065B/E60065Y World War II German Bf 109 Fighter Cockpit

Galland was famous for having a telescopic sight mounted through the windscreen, rather than a reflector gunsight. Where is it DID?

Hot Toys DX24 & DX25 Bespin Luke Skywalker (Regular and Exclusive versions)

I would think it's more likely they had just one belt, rather than several different belts. Originally made larger to accommodate the extra clothing bulk in Norway, and then when the d-ring appears almost behind the buckle, that's when it's at it's tightest. Later, when it needed to be tighter...
