It's most definitely for cost savings, I mean 90% of the clone troopers they make are just mold reuses even if it's inaccurate. These clones are honestly Hot Toys' laziest figures next to the Iron Man recolors. And with collectors still coming in droves to buy these they have no incentive to change.

My figures are in a temp controlled room with no sunlight exposure so that's definitely not the cause

Can you confirm if the suit is nylon or not? I'm seeing a lot of mixed opinion but I remember Reagan mentioning that he asked HK staff and they confirmed it was nylon when the prototype was out, the suit also looks a lot more like nylon fabric than pleather in these close ups.

SW is like the one license where people would actually collect these types of random Alien side characters, and with these Jedi it seems like HT is finally (maybe) understanding that. Hope we can eventually get Greedo and the ESB Bounty Hunters

Honestly I bet its the CW swap out parts and robes driving the cost up, sucks for those of us that will never use those parts too since we are essentially overpaying for parts that will just sit in the box. Wish they just made a separate deluxe for those that want them.
