Yup couldn’t agree more, it’s my favorite work from him. Is he still selling that sculpt?

I have the feeling he will come back eventually, but it will take time. I think his sculpts will be superb. One of his sculpts painted by him.

So sad he’s not taking commissions anymore, I would love to own a piece of his work.

I think the price will be the biggest shock here, if a two pack is $1.7k (basically the same figure just a different sculpt) then this three pack will well exceed $2k I’m afraid. Maybe less because these are kids and they are smaller, but I doubt it.

You’re right, I think with proper care it should definitely last a long time. I also don’t think it will crack as fast as everyone’s been saying, just be careful when handling the figure and moving the head/neck.

I would’ve been interested in their Lite versions if they had rooted hair. Not sure if I wanna take another gamble on their silicone figures, we don’t know much about the silicone they are using or how durable it is, so I’m hesitant to preorder them.

I think John has a lot of potential, for a $180 bucks it’s definitely not bad at all. Only thing I don’t really like about his work is the way he paints and roots the hair.

Yeah I will. Maybe he didn’t completely finish painting of the mouth as it looks quite different compared to the arirang sample. Teeth aren’t glossy, corners of the mouth seem unpainted and the tongue is the wrong color.

I thought that were his bottom teeth as well. Hopefully it’s not my sculpt, I’m getting it painted the same way as that picture. Honestly not acceptable for the price he charges. Will mostly likely go with Heise in the future, didn’t know Yuan blocked him after he taught him his methods.

How much is it? I asked her about it not long ago and she told me it was currently $2500.. I really like the coat lapels as well she got those spot on it seems. Would love to see IRIS do a 2.0 if the original project organizer ever reaches back to you.
