Hello Angelofmusic2112, My experience with brush on RTV is very small. I have only used it a couple times. I have used a few different of the Smooth on pourable RTVs. Also check out the Smooth on website, they have lots of techincal details, training and information. They do charge more...

Welcome Monkeybat! I have been nagging Angel for those too. Perhaps with the less expensive resin options it will be more cost effective for him to make them for us! At least that is my hope. Also having multiple customers is a good thing too. I would even be willing to pay 50% up front to...

Nice screens, I checked out the photos. The tribunal scene is one of several I want to try and recreate in 1/6th scale. I found a good source of RTV / Resin. Smooth on products from Blicks Art Supply. I ordered some a couple days ago, resin and RTV for about $50 including shipping.

Yes, the Roman systems were great and would certainly allow large volumes of water. Often an aquaduct would be used to fill a large tank at a location and then the tank would permit high water pressure. A low pressure aquaduct with a dribble of water 24/7 would fill a tank that can make...

I was wondering...with 1900-level technology, how could the apes provide so much water pressure for the waterhose that Julius uses? A high water tank will provide substantial water pressure. Pumps can be manually operated by Apes or human power outside the building.

I was thinking about the glyph. I have several Gorilla Generals and I anticipate taking the glyph from the General headgear or collar. The Gorilla Soldier has the same color boots as the Female Gorilla, so I think I will leave them that color. A knitting party would be nice.

Stickman, thanks for the kind words. Actually the lack of a figure next to the Lawgiver prevented you from determining the distance and the scale, as I intended. It is the Medicom Lawgiver, only about seven inches tall! Without an Ape or other identifiable item near him, in the bleak terrain...

Take one Dr. Zira and one Gorilla Soldier from Hasbro. Remove both heads and the clothing from the Dr. Zira. Use Rit Dye Remover on the clothing. Then use Rit "Wine" dye on the clothing. I followed the directions exactly, using the stove top method. I used an entire bottle of the liquid...

Rather than paint the head, I painted the hands and wrists and popped off a Hasbro Gorilla Soldier head, using the hair dryer method suggested by you apes here, thank you very much, and put that Gorilla head on the Zira body. I think the dark gray Gorilla head looks pretty good as a female...
