Yup, the Bond movies could sometimes be a bit safe and generic, but they at least all had that Brocoli stamp on it, and you never had any doubt that they cared about and respected the character.

I'm not quite as down on Disney SW as everyone else here, but there's no question it's missing that certain Lucas magic and doesn't have that same unique feel that it used to.

They literally killed the character. Barbara Broccoli oversaw the demise of Bond in the worst films in the franchise (Quantum of Solace, Spectre, NTTD), then killed off Bond - good riddance to her and her half-brother Wilson.
