I honestly wanted the Chrome version in the first place, but never got the chance to get one, and tried to find one at other retailers, but after failing to find one and giving it alot of thought, I decided to just get the Combat version...I just thought it's better to have one version than to miss out on both all together and not have any at all...I got mine last week and I am just beside myself at how amazing it is and am very happy and satisfied that this is my first piece from Sideshow...I though about shining it up to make it the chrome version, but the more I look at it, the Combat look is just growing on me more and more, and im just happy to have it...:D

Yeah, That's why I want to keep mine as a Combat version.. the chrome is too clean, like an Amusement park ride the Combat version looks amazing I think! I would just like it to be a touch shiner as well.:banana

wow !!! i wont risk that !! imagine if it fades it out . NO WAY !!
I wont take gambles like that with a $500 collectible !!

Me neither. I would also be worried about if I wanted to sell it later and having to explain what I did to prospective buyers.

That looks even cleaner than the original clean version... You also got rid of the "rainbow" it seams (and the T2 logo...). This really was the BD version? A stunning result.

Hey Patton/F Jack! Welcome to the board, kind of... seems like you posted here a bit already!
Looking at that... I'm really on the fence about cleaning combat, but yours' is such a convincing argument to clean it up... I'll PM you next month for advice!

All i did was use 40 pence Nail polish remover and a kitchen towel abit of elbow grease and thats it....

The price of these clean SSC endo's is going up... Cheapest I saw was around $930 on Ebay. Most expensive was $1,900. But that one is up for auction again, $1,900 is a bit much now, isn't it... ! There's been an offer for $1,700 on that expensive one, and the seller turned it down... ha! An offer like that can easily be arrange I think, doesn't fool me! I'd never pay that kind of money for this bust, even if it is the best Endo skull on the market. I'm happy I got mine when it was for sale at SSC.
