Seems to me the Sideshow bust gives you 90% of a 1:1 OT Yoda.

Yeah, that's why if they do one I won't buy it and stick with my Yoda bust. I meant to say that but I guess I forgot.

I want a Yoda Puppet. I want Sideshow to make a 1:1 Yoda Puppet, not something out of Polystone, not something made of plastic, I want it to look so much like the film prop you expect Frank Oz's hand to be shoved up it.

Now that I would buy. In a heartbeat.

i would think that a 1:1 wicket body could be fashioned from a large teddy bear with some work ...:lol.........but the head would be a whole different story. was there ever a furred wicket mask? sounds like it could be a challenge but not impossible..............:dunno

I've never seen one... there are a few custom 1:1 Wickets out there, but I don't think any really capture the look of Wicket very well.

:lecture Mike's posts have become difficult to read :lol

He just needs to jump on the 3D bandwagon. Imagine his signature images in 3D.

If Sideshow can even approach the accuracy and realism of Phil's latex Yoda (which I highly doubt), I'd be more than happy:

THAT is Yoda. :lecture

And it'll be my next project once I'm done with these latest droids... and a certain Tatooine land vehicle. :D

when i went on my honeymoon we went on a cruise and one of the stops we went to st martin and one of the prop guys from the original star wars has a studio and is making a musuem there. he had a life size wickett just like the movies and it looked great. ill try to locate some pics of it. he had a bunch of stuff there. it was pretty cool. even my wife enjoyed it

Have to agree with you... that looks like a shot from the film. I really like my Yoda bust from Sideshow, but its hard to deny that its off when you compare it to something that.

small world! my wife and I had our honeymoon in st. martin 3 years ago. We were just shopping on the strip for jewelry when I heard the star wars theme being played. I followed the music to his cool store. But the prices he was asking were insane.

I still love SS's 1:1 Bust regardless of it's flaws.

Yoda's eyes look wonky in that puppet. I'm guessing that is just the way the real puppet was? I guess you never notice because of camera angles or something. That is pretty awesome, I'd love to see Sideshow do something like that. I doubt they can do better than it, but I bet they can do it for alot less.
