I have the opportunity to pick up this piece that I have been wanting for years. The asking price is $1,170 dollars shipped. Does anybody have any opinions on whether this is a good deal or not. Also to anyone who owns this what are your opinions. I usually do not do this and make decisions for myself but I really want it but don't want to overpay for this and regret it.

Thanks in advance!!!

If you truly wan't it. You can't overpay.
They don't come up often. If you truly love this piece, than grab it. That's what I would do.

I was looking at the same piece some time ago and watched quite a few reviews on it.

Visually, its awesome but you might be a little let down that none of the fingers move. There is NO joint movement at all.

So considering that a full 1:1 endo costs roughly 5.5k, 1.1k for one non-movable arm might be a little steep.

Might be better to save up a little and get the 1:1 that has movable fingers on its left arm.

:D

Who cares if it has no finger or joint movement. Do you plan on posing the fingers in a THUMBS UP or FLIPPING the BIRD:lol Come on bro. It's an ICONIC vision from T2. A must have for a TERMINATOR fan. There is no better example on the marked since ICONS and TIMELESS COLLECTIBLES are SO HARD to acquire. If you can get one and even have a TUBE made from FRANCIS LUCAS STUDIOS or somewhere else it is a CENTERPIECE collectible. Of course a 1:1 is the ULTIMATE nobady will argue that but way out of reach for most and display room is ridiculously much. Mike

Hi Mike. different strokes for different folks i guess.

I dun intend to repose the fingers per se but like the idea that it is likely to be more durable and less prone to breakage because there are joints.

I agree with you that space is a premium for most of us, we might have the $ for it but finding the space for it might be tough.

That is actually also one of the considerations when I suggested the 1:1 endo.

It has the head, the pulse rifle, the arm all in one display without the need for shelves.

I love the terminator license and added up the cost of getting the clean head + arm + plasma rifle and it came close to the 1:1 endo hence the recommendation.

:D

:duff Hey bro. Man TERMINATOR collectibles sure cost a pretty penny don't they. I wish that I had the good fortune of having a 1:1 ENDOSKELETON in my living room:D It really don't get better than that I agree!! Take care buddy. Mike

Here's me rooting for you to strike loto or the equivalent Mike. If anyone deserves the 1:1 I'd say you and Chris would :duff

This was the reason for me selling the plasma rifle..I figured the 1:1 would have i already :D

As far as current market price for the 1:1 endoarm...I'd say about $1100.00 shipped is the going rate.

If you really like this endo arm, then you should buy it. It is really awesome pcs indeed. Here is mine made by early company, Timeless Collectibles.

Sideshow or Timeless Collectibles? I would think TC is more rare and worth more. I don't know if ICONS made one.

SideShow version of hand is a bit better, but comes without a tube..
Timeless is much more rare, and comes with the tube, so overall looks like a complete piece..
If I had the chance to choose one, I'd take Timeless, however, once displayed, in my opinion, hand is one of the strongest and THE best representations of the Terminator in whole..

$1000+ is still way out of my range, and that's the reason why I still don't have one, but I'm hoping to get/build one eventually, and it'll be articulated!

EDIT: And just to add, I don't think that Icons ever offered the Arm, there is SideShow, Timeless and Cinema Replicas (Crazy Replicas) version.....Don't know of any other..

Hope one day someone to make a full metal one with movable joints and finger. The same with a 1:3 or 1:2 full body Endo scale version.

Yeah... I guess ICONS never made an Endoarm... My bad:lol As for the TIMELESS COLLECTIBLES that would be my choice if I were ever able to find one and had the available money to buy it. I always thought it was a higher quality piece overall especially with the TUBE and certificate. For those of you who may not of seen I posted a few pics of the a more screen accurate looking base I had RUSS make for me. He machined it out of SOLID ALUMINUM. RUSS is very capable as we all know of making a 1:1 ENDOARM and wouldn't that be a dream come true. Good luck and do let us know once you acquire that 1:1 Endoarm for yourself. Mike
