Not impressed with this one at all. I've seen 1/4 and 1/6 scale offerings from Adam that look amazing, but this one is seriously lacking IMHO.

at 1/2 scale, what do you guys think if they were to use rooted hair? yay or nay?

If it looks great in full scale, 1/3, 1/4, and 1/6, I can't see why if done right, that it can't look great here. A messy make up with rooted hair would put it at another level imo.

For the kind of money they will be charging this piece SHOULD have rooted hair. Sculpted hair for Ledger's Joker always looks like crap.

The hair is one of the most key features of the character. It's not complete without rooted hair at this scale.

All that noise for this statue being regarded as the greatest thing since sliced bread and it really doesn't look all that special at all.

Body problems aside, nothing has topped EB yet when it comes to Heath's Joker.

Yea i thought the bottom lip looked weird. It was always going to be sculpted hair and i personally dont like it especially when the hair is long.
that being said, will be interesting to see if someone part hairs it like Adam did with his jokers.
That could look cool

I'm not as experienced as you guys, but I've never seen a statue smaller than 1:1 scale with real hair that looked good. They always look really odd to me. I can't imagine that a mass produced statue like this could have sculpted hair that looked real. Even when Bob Causey was offering his 1:3 Ledger Joker statues (that I saw in person) something was off with their hair.

I think this one is clearly the best head sculpt as far as manufactured pieces go, but the custom 1:1's from Bobby and Howard have this one beat imo. And for the price they cost, they should be better, but 1:2 is pretty big, so I think if a good artist got their hands on this, it could be greatly improved.
