The 1:2 for nearly 1000 pounds is a lot for hit and miss

I know...they got the normal version 1:2 iron maquette that i just bought for around GBP950! For that price you may aswell get the real thing from SS. He's got the Mark II bust up for $799

Just having some correspondence with the guy selling them on eBay. He's an absolute clown! He is urging me to make payment first before answering any of my questions...he's not offering any tracking, he is sending it by Hong Kong post which from past experiences is a very bad method of shipping and can take up to a month to deliver! Also his feedback certainly leaves alot to be desired. He tends to take peoples money and then not send anything...however he does pay the money back eventually. I think as good as it looks, certain things should be left alone and keep ones money safe

I really like the 1:2 Mark II and the bust. I already have an original Mark III maquette. You can get legit Mark III maquettes for not too much more, I got mine for $1700 a couple months ago. It seems like all the negative feedback comes from jewelry sales, but having such a big package delivered from hong kong is hella risky.

guys, do NOT buy from ebay those are just lame flippers using the lw photos. All you have to do is create an account on lw studio website, then you can see the prices and order from there. The prices are actually very reasonable, the 1:2 iron patriot is only $600 and the bust is $500, plus shipping. Just the quality is hit and miss, and they have poor customer service. So if you get a bad one, it's basically tough luck. But if you have the skills to customize / fix then it's not a bad deal.

I wish they made those in 1/4 i will be all over it, 1/2 is too big for me, still would love to see some in hand photos if anyone decide to buy it.

i have no idea, i wanted to buy some of their 1/5 predator statues but some of the inhand photo isnt good at all so gave up on that. The iron patriot is really tempting though especially at that price point, but just thinking about them trying to ship that 40" brick from hong kong to here without breaking it makes me give up the idea of ordering.

Next time i goto HK, will go visit their shop.

Are you not protected by eBay?

I don't think ebay does anything anymore. Paypal is who you have to go through when it comes to claims and sort. These are much cheaper through the web site.

from past experiences (bearing in mind this was for UK transactions) if i had paid for an item and never recieved it, i would be instructed by eBay to open a case and then they will give the seller ample time to respond. If there is no communication from the seller then eBay intervene by escalating the case and return the money back to you...and obviously take action against the seller.

Very very risky and plus I dare not to support the recast of these items. A few that I have are real Sideshow stuff customized. The Iron P is real nice, however not a big fan of the guy
I will wait for all the new IM movie stuff from IM 3
