1/4 Maquette vs. 1/4 PF

noob question so please take it easy - also not sure if this is the correct forum, if not please move.

whats the difference?

I really like the IronMan that came out now by SS but dont know if I should order direct as I do with the EX or if I can wait and get it localy. help and suggestions appreciated

Its all pretty much mixed up now.

Years ago Sideshow had way less lines and each term meant something specific ....a lot more blurred now.
For a while 'Premium Format' was used when cloth and other real materials were on the statue and Maquette when it was just solid polystone ....but thats not really the case either now.

Legacy who team up with Sidehow to produce the Avengers and Iron Man 1/4 pieces seem to like the term Maquette for their pieces.

In terms of where to order the Iron Man piece from .....really up to you. No definitive advantage to ordering direct with no EX.
