1/4 Prime 1 Studio: New 52 - Flash Statue

The portrait on this is aweful, and I am all about the headsculpt. Already a better Flashbon the way

even the green lantern head sculpt is not so good compare with the sideshow one. looks like sideshow has got the edge over
prime 1 on face sculpt.

I don't like any of the Prime NEW 52 JL pieces except for Flash. With that said, the portrait on Flash still needs to be improved. I don't care for the NEW 52 costume but that's a matter of personal preference.

You hit the nail on the head with all of your observations. I think this piece looks cool as hell but agree with you...the costume, portrait, and possible leaning issues will make me pass on this piece. However, I doubt we'll ever see anything as dynamic as this from SSC when they release their Flash PF. The pose is so damn dynamic. If he was in his classic duds, I don't know if I could resist this piece.

I was really lookng forward to this one and its a let down. No way he doesn't fall unless he's totally hollow.

i'm sure prime 1 will do something to prevent this from happening, may be an extra long peg on the foot.

With the way he's side-wards and all the weight on his left foot where he attaches to the base ...there will need to be a rod that goes from chest, abdomen, waist, leg, foot and then to the base. Then there needs to be a cantilever in the base that supports that rod. Not mention that rod needs to thick enough not to bend over time.

P1 can definitely do all that, but they need to let their customers know if they did that or not.

I was trying to look at the Superman 1/4 statue on Sideshow and it seems like they're trying to take credit as the manufacturer for this New 52 line Couldn't find it when filtering Prime 1 Studios but it's on there under their company, haha.

I'm just not digging the metallic shiny paint on superman and flash in this line. Works for GL, but the other two look off to me... just my 2 cents.

This isn't made by SS and I've yet to hear of any Prime 1 statue having leaning issues... Not saying it couldn't happen but until it does I'd give Prime 1 the benefit of the doubt...

the product description said "Developed in partnership with Prime 1 Studio", but the head sculpt is kind of horrible.

I'm liking this line after seeing flash! Love these in shines paint and the action poses. These portraits are surely well done comic faces. Flash looks like the comic and cartoon in a way. The costumes I can't tell any difference enough to notice anything from the classic other than the shiney paint. Thinking about getting this entire line now. But must see ww first to decide. If she comes out bad I will pass on this line since I won't have the full set. WW will be the toughest test for prime 1 to get right. Let's see how they do. Honestly I have much more faith in prime1's portraits than xm over all now. I see superman ex is still
Not sold out yet? Wow his price was 750.00 and not including shipping yet. Since seems like many don't like things about the line, I wonder if these can be had for less than 800.00 each down the road. Superman ex is only 500 and still not sold out yet.

I had so high hopes for the first Flash Statue from a Big Company but for now its a let down for me and it makes me sad


The Biggest Problem i have with this Statue is that the "Should Movement while Running" is 100% Wrong and it bugs me so hard that they got the one thing wrong this Character should do 100% right... (example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PH-3cHxXAK0 ) Hope i dont miss something here but it if i understand it correct the other arm should be infront of him and not his left like you can see in the Picture below



- The Color is kinda off but i still like it so its something i would be fine with if not changed.
- The Face is kinda weird for me. Could be the lightning or maybe there will be more then 1 Head so its maybe 1 thats more like a "Comic" Face and not like this one ( Feels for me like the artis was trying to make it look as real as possible and im not sure if thats the right idea on those Statues.
- The Lines between the plates of the Suit need to be changed to Yellow cuz thats how they work if hes running in super speed


Normaly i would say "Its Prime1 they gonna change alot on the Pieces over the time if its just been shown" but its already Painted and stuff so im not sure if they gonna change the whole Pose/Color/Face Stuff

hands are all wrong, right hand should be pointing
forward and left hand should be backward!
