I couldn't pass up on this deal, I ordered mine last night along with the new 1/4 scale Big chap from NECA as well and Penguin.
My total was only $209 shipped for three 1/4 scale figures. Best deal I've gotten in awhile.
I also used this Calendars.com "30% off of $100+" deal to get the 1/4 scale Big Chap Alien for $69.99 shipped. However, don't be surprised if your order (or at the very least, that item) gets cancelled...
I've been checking Calendars.com for weeks now for a deal like this on the 1/4 Big Chap to pop up, but sometime last week the item was taken off of their website. I live chatted with one of their CS people to find out what was going on, and she told me that they are not going to be receiving any stock of the item, so they removed it from sale on their website. I asked her if I would've ordered it before it was removed, would my order have been cancelled, and she said yes. I also asked her if they would eventually put it back up for sale, and she said she had no way of knowing that one way or the other.
However, once that "30% off of $100+" popped up over the weekend, I was debating using it on the 1/4 AK when I noticed that the 1/4 Big Chap was showing up under the "You May Also Like..." section on the 1/4 AK page, so I placed an order to get it for $69.99, hoping that that CS rep was wrong and they will actually sell it again. I still can't find it when searching for "alien" anymore like I did for weeks, so my order will probably just get cancelled, but I figured it couldn't hurt to order it with fingers crossed.
Sorry for the novel, but I thought I'd give you a heads-up. How did you find the 1/4 Big Chap on their site? Also through the "You May Also Like..." section?
