Random one but would anyone happen to know of a 1/6 Amish clothing set, past figures that would have been parted out with something like that, or even just the existence of a straw-style sun/farm hat? I’m not seeing any in my searches.

I have been on a Harrison Ford kick lately and have a couple spare headsculpts, and started toying with the idea of making a Ford shelf and one of my favorite films of his is Witness.

It’s not something I’m so keen on that I would pay for a custom or anything, but I got to thinking that it could be a reasonably easy kitbash if the right pieces were out there.

There are pants with suspenders and collared, long sleeved shirts readily available, so I guess it does just come down to finding a hat like the one below:

I’m assuming the answer will be no but thanks for taking a look anyhow!

Haven't seen one myself, but this is a figure idea that has crossed my mind more than once over the years. Great performance in a great film.

I've been working on a few kitbashes myself and totally understand the struggle of finding the right pieces. Your Harrison Ford project sounds awesome, especially with "Witness" being one of his standout roles. I haven't come across any dedicated 1/6 Amish clothing sets either, but the idea of putting one together from different parts is super clever. For the straw hat, have you checked out custom options? I came across this site called Mato & Hash that does custom fitted hats, which might be worth a look: https://matohash.com/collections/custom-fitted-hats. You might be able to get something close to what you're envisioning.

For what head or figure you want this? I have made several hats and head pieces for my figures in various materials..the most common styrene plastic, the most of the time the problem is not the shape or detail on it, is how and if will fit nicely the intended head sculpt, molded hair and such could be a problem for a nice looking fit, requiring sometime modification to this particular area in the sculpt for a good fit and scale appearance.
