Yours is a good kind of madness though lol!
A 1/6 Bantha sounds like the sort of thing Hot Toys would make were they given the nod from Lucasfilm and I can't wait to see how yours turns out. Nice Tusken Raider too.

No way, thats will be huge and very impressive no doubt about it.

I can't get the idea out of my head of building a AT-ST, i seen it done before.

Cannot wait to see it! Should be a great piece.

BTW, are you still working on your droid project? Would love to see what is up with R2 and 3PO.

I love your drive to go to new heights with your masterful creations. can't wait to see him!

Glenn, you're crazy! :)

This thing will be huge! Awesome to see though. A Bantha and two sandpeople -- that's one display that would shatter the Jabba display for sheer awesomeness.

hi Glen, do you have any tips on how to customize the Tusken's feet? i have been working on one, but can't quite do this area justice...

i did mine by wrapping thin strips of cotton material around the foot, which is, i think, a dragon one with the flexible toe section, then a few spots of glue to secure it all, some paint to 'seal it, then pose it a few times fill in the areas that got missed with paint firsttime around, then large amounts of
Mig pigments 'european earth' or just as good a good dry brush and some ground up chalks, or as on the first one i did a few years back, as above but i glued a foot shaped piece of thin rubbery plastic (the sort of stuff hasbro SW 12" boots are made of)as a kind of sole.

the bantha is still at planning stage due to other comittments but by no means forgotten:D

fantastic info! thanks a lot!

Thanks for the update, I am new to posting here but I have been reading these boards especially the custom section for a few weeks. I have become so inspired by the work here I have started doing some custom head sculpts of my own. So far just a Pablo Jill, and I have started sculpting a Coleman Trebor. I am fairly artistic and SW customs at this scale are a good outlet. I really am looking forward to seeing your process for the large Bantha I cant imagine what you are going to use as a frame. Some day I too would like to make a Bantha, and ultimately my goal is to make a 1:6th Rancor.

Keep up the great work, and keep raising the bar.
