1/6 Daniel Craig 007: Custom Body (pics!)

Here's a sneak peek at the commission Craig 007 figure I'm working on. Finally getting around to him.

The body is a Dragon body with added musculature to resemble Craig's physique.

The suit was bought on eBay. It was pretty stiff and fit like it was made of paper. I had to take in the suit a bit to fit the new muscles around the shoulder. And the pants were too slim fitting so I had to let it out a bit after adding the thigh and calf muscles. I also soaked the clothes in a special solution to soften them and also add wrinkles in the right places.

I'm not sure what company the shoes are from, actually. I bought it loose at a toy store here. I like it cause it's brown. It's a little too shiny - I may put a coat of dull coat on it eventually.

BTW: One of the members on OSW pointed me to a site that had a 1/6 Walther P99. So I don't have to make it from scratch anymore. hehe

Looks great! Only one problem: the hands. All 1:6 figure hands besides Sideshow's look too doll-like to me. Try to fix those a bit and from what I can see so far, your Bond will be perfect.

That's a good call, Buttmunch. I feel the hands are a bit small (and doll-like, too). So I am planning to sculpt new hands for him.

The suit is (I was informed by an OSW member) from a Barbie Ken fashion outfit. Although I'm not 100% convinced since there was no tags.

I have to alter it to fit the re-styled body.

I'll post pics of the resculpted body the next time I strip him.

I'm about 80% happy with the HS.

I used the Dragon head as a base and ended up using the ears from it since they looked pretty close to Craig's. I filed off the face and original hair and sculpted on top.

I also included a shot of the HS mounted on the body as a test.

I won't have time to work on him again til next week, so enjoy for now.

Thanks, guys. I wish this week wasn't so friggin hectic at work. I wanted to have him painted by the end of this weekend, but it looks like that ain't happening.

BTW: I'm so tempted to dye his suit a dark blue or black.

As much as I don't like Craig (most of you know that) that is an amazing sculpt! That is by far the most lifelike Craig custom I have seen anywhere so take that as a sincere compliment.
