Thanks, Dekadentdave!

Let me guess - Connery is your fav? It's Connery for me. Craig comes in 3rd - behind Moore.

i think you need to work on the head sculpt.it doesn't really resemble him

Thanks, guys. I wish this week wasn't so friggin hectic at work. I wanted to have him painted by the end of this weekend, but it looks like that ain't happening.

BTW: I'm so tempted to dye his suit a dark blue or black.

What do you guys think?

Don't dye it. It was that color in the film (when he gets off the plane in Jamacia).

Your head sculpt looks excellent. I'd be pleased if Sideshow's was that good... that doesn't happen to be who its being commisioned for is it? :monkey3

Yes, for me it's Connery and Dalton.

:duff

I'm surprised not too many people liked Dalton. I thought he brought a harder edge to Bond. And that's exactly the reason he and Craig are fighting for 3rd place on my list. I have to see Craig in one more Bond movie before I pass complete verdict on him.

Thanks, Buttmunch! Yeah - I probably will stick with this color suit. It's a less typical color for a Bond figure - which I like.

I'm not doing this for SS - but that's a HUGE compliment - :) Thanks!

Hey, I give compliments when they are well deserved. When sculpts aren't as good as they could be, such as the Sideshow Han 12" figure, I don't just say it sucks. I try to point out why the sculpt isn't the best it could be - positive critisim. My philosophy is: If I can't personally do any better (which I know I can't) then I have no right to COMPLAIN. I can politly critisize because I know what the sculpters are capable of. But I can't complain. If I dislike something enough, I just don't buy it.

Once again, great job. I think the third head close up shows the likeness the best.

I've done a lot of dying in my day... the risk is that the threads may not take the dye in the same way the suit does.

Ooh. That's a really good point.

I'm always appreciative of constructive criticism. It's pretty much why I post. When I work on something - I tend to get obsessed with it. Sometimes that causes me to not see flaws that are right in front of my eyes. The more eyes see it - the more I can eliminate the flaws and get it closer to perfect.

Thanks again. Tin

Thanks, TwistedFreak and Snakebeater!

BTW: That's a DML P99. I'm so glad I bought it. It has a removable Laser attachment, removable cartridge, and working slider.

I may make a cast of it and keep the original for me - hehe.

hehe. No worries, Snakebeater. I welcome criticism.

And yes - I'll be making a few casts for sale.

I'll post a thread when I have them available. I've been swamped at work so it may be a 2 or 3 weeks, though.

That is absolutely be-you-tif-ul!!!!!

That is awesome, easily the best craig custom I have seen. I think that you should get oen of the ACI Black Suit sets though for the Tux look.

Hello Tin! I would love to own a piece of this! Your work is amazing! You should work for some toy company. You definitely have the skills. You have captured Daniel's likeness so well, and you did it at such a small scale. Geez. I am a very talented artist. In fact I have had stuff published. I was offered to once illustrate for a children's book, but was intimidated (I hate when I pass up great moments), but I was also a teenager at the time. I still one day yearn to do that. Point is if I am doing a portrait of someone to get all the fine details on a sheet of paper or canvas I need to have a decent size of space to work with. How do you do it on such a small level? You got one of those glasses that blow up your working area? hehe

Thanks, Abstractharmony! Yeah - for my copy of the figure - I will go with a black suit. Or a dark suit of some sort. I'm not a big fan of tuxedos, though.
