yeah, i don't consider war machine and iron patriot to be the same thing.

if i were to get one war machine though, it'd be the mark 3. it's the only armor that wasn't armed by bad guys lol.

Ha, an entirely fair point. For me, though, the fact that it's the classic War Machine look outweighs that for me. I feel like the Mk II and Mk III are a little too close to Iron Man's design for my tastes.

I absolutely agree with that.

For me 1 and 3 are really close, but 3 wins because of the weaponry and that iron man-esque design you're talking about.

Solution for me.. Get all of them lol.

If a DC Mk6 pops up these are both being PO'd immediately. If not, I'll wait to see pics of both the Mk1 and Mk3 once released to make a decision. This Mk1 is amazing and I'm really starting to lean towards it as my only WM. Sorry AoU, you look great with my Mk45 for now, but unfortunately it's becoming clearer that you're just a placeholder...

Can he still not put both arms forward, as if shooting, with the machine guns at the sides? Was hoping they would fix that articulation so he could pose that way without the guns being at the bottom. They should give him rotatable forearms :lol

Looks great!

I personally don't care for the weathered look, so I'm thrilled you can choose which way to display. He looks amazing, always have been.

Thanks for the pics, I love it! :clap :woo Now if only we got a diecast Mark VI to pair with it.

Edit: Is a diecast Mark VI in the works? It's hard to keep track of these. :lol

That's a very simple pose or change and I see no reason why he couldn't do it. All they would need to do is raise the elbow and level the shoulder, which can be done with any standard articulated figure.

Now that's a War Machine. Hoping to unload my Mark II, this is the only version I need.

I remember when I was a kid I'd search at KB Toys every weekend for the Toy Biz War Machine... never found it either.
