Yeah, I was pumped when I opened mine up. I got him displayed, put the faceplate on (I lowered my head in the traditional WTH expression after seeing it doing the same as Patriot, etc.).......then proceeded to get up off my couch, fetch my bluetac, and fix the issue. To a point, anyway. Still love this thing and can live with the faceplate thing.

Don't be fooled by these shots, the faceplate is still a nightmare to pose correctly. Dunno why all the Rhodey headsculpts have this problem. Fingers crossed for WMMK3

Nice.

I cannot wait to display 1, 2, & 3 together. It's going to be so awesome.. Then thinking about displaying the 1 + 6, 2 + 45, & 3 + 46 is just going to be incredible. (And I could throw in patriot and the 42 in if I felt so inclined lol)

Haha nice! I already got IP and Mk42.

Still waiting for this armor and the DC VI.

Thinking of getting the WM MkII to pair with my MkXLV.

Already PO WM MkIII so will be waiting for XLVI.

It never ends!!!

I rarely display my faceplated figures with it up, so if it sits a little low isn't too big a deal.

The wait for this thing is killing me. I also wish the 3 would release soon, I really want to see photos of those two side-by-side.

Will be getting mine two weeks from now, assuming no other delays. Can't wait!

Anyone have a general idea when Bigbadtoystore gets Hot Toys stock from Sideshow after the latter begins shipping?

Such a mystery dude. Usually about three weeks after, but my CW Cap shipped from BBTS about a week before Sideshows. That makes me think that even though SS are technically filling BBTS orders, the shipments are still sent directly to BBTS from Asia. But I know nothing and am just sharing my best guess based on many wasted hours of toy pondering. :lecture

Interesting. Thanks for the insight.

Sideshow sometimes ships to resellers before their direct customers. A few years back, this was the norm. Now they tend to ship to direct customers first, but not always.

The way they allocate is dependent on how many they (ssc) get in each shipment from hot toys and weighs that against how many it takes each allotted group to be filled. If they get only a small batch but that covers all of bbts orders then instead of spending time breaking down the shipment and picking which customers get it that ordered with ssc, then doing the charges and emails for that small group they just fill the bbts order...otherwise they are doing the breakdown and order processing twice while having to pick and choose which customers and what sub group (full pay/flex/) get filled and then wait for the payments to process, then answer the inevitable emails asking why some customer are getting filled and others not. If it turns out easier to fill bbts or toy anxiety or whomever then that's what they do. But usually they get most thof figures at once and this is why most the time th secondary sellers (bbts ect) get filled later because ssc is filling their in house first and that takes a week to ten days and then it takes a couple days to ship, then a couple days for the retailer to process(so, 2-3 weeks)
