Re: Display Bases for 1/6 Figures

Awesome! Glad you like those snow toppers, Spallesc. :rock I've got a couple Jakku Village toppers done but I may tweak the look a bit more.

woa nice! those didn't know you could do name tags too! glad I hadn't put in order in yet :D I must ponder this

Re: Display Bases for 1/6 Figures

I can't but EVILFACE can. :D I ordered some from him for my stands.

haha oops sorry, I guess I meant to say the nameplate on the base to put the name tag on :wink1: I know some ppl don't, but I love having a nametag on my figure bases so it's cool that you make them with that possibility of adding EF's nametag decals to the bases:yess:

As soon as I noticed AdumarSF post a pic of his that he got from EF I knew I had to use them on my stands.

Yeah, some like a nameplate and some don't and I understand why on both accounts. It's nice to be able to offer them to those that do and I'm really glad EVILFACE has made it possible to do it in a classy and relatively easy way.

Nice.. Your stands with the name plate looks even better! I for one like the name tags... Makes it feel a little more like a statue or collectible, and a little less dolly like!! :lol

:goodpost: I've said it before. You and Evil really raise the bar when it comes to display options.

agreed! he was able to make me a few "metal" nametags for some of my customs that are on DX bases and now with you also doing the plate for the nametag, I can get some made soon whenever I finally finish at least one of my Gladiator figures :lol

yes exactly! I love my figures to have a more premium look and the stand+nameplate make that possible

Thanks! I had EF make a nameplate for me so I would feel a little less dollie too.

I used to have a statue just like Kramer is holding. That was until I hired a cleaning lady. I knew I couldn't trust Ma. She would always walk in on me reading Glamour too. :gah:

Re: Display Bases for 1/6 Figures

Awesome pics, UK!!! :rock Thanks for posting them! I'm glad you like the stands. :duff

Here's something we could do for that flying pose we were talked HT about earlier. It's a normal 5" Round stand with an 8" mounting post that has a crotch grabber and a waist grabber in it. If I had a black waist grabber that would have been better but you get the idea.

It should allow you to safely pose a figure in a variety of jumping, flying or web slinging poses. :D

That works. The waist grabber that Superman comes with adds bulk behind the cape which makes it not drape as well this way does. Nice and simple without adding the bulk.

Re: Display Bases for 1/6 Figures

Awesome display UK, I too converted most of my figures over to the black-rounds; any worries about the basic crotch grabber holding up that MK 42 armor?

Coco, are you producing the stand shown above with Superman...with a crotch and waist grabber, I'd like to get my Superman in the air?

Sure am. I just ordered some black waist grabbers so I make some to sell. It's my basic Round 5" Base with an 8" or so post that you can put a crotch grabber and a waist grabber in at the same time.

Thanks, Tinman. I actually replaced the crotch grabber with a waist grabber. It is pretty stable because it is almost wedged between a gap in the armor. I was very careful with it because I didn't want the little knob to come off the end and scratch the paint.

Crappy cell phone shots in horrible lighting, but I'm thrilled that these stands look this great!
