I would be surprised to see the dalek or the cyberman preorders this year, but you never know.

Too bad. I'm glad they are improving the previously made figures... but at BCS pace, it could be a decade before we get to some new characters and good villains.

Too bad. I'm glad they are improving the previously made figures... but at BCS pace, it could be a decade before we get to some new characters and good villains.

Nah, now that we're starting to come out of Covid and all those delays it'll probably fall back to the usual... 5-7 years. Lol

I'm just going by their Bond line. Announced in 2016... now 2021 and we have had 6 figures delivered in 5 years.

At that pace, you can do the math if they decided to do all the Doctors before anyone else.

I think we won't see delays like before now. If we get 3rd in may/june it won't even be a year delay and thats because of covid. Any figure up for pre order now should be release in 1 or 2 year. But yeah even with that, between the rest of the classic doctor, the new new who doctors, the brigadier.. It will be a while until we have the cyberman or dalek. Except if they surprise us a put one of them up for pre order this year. Personnally i'm only interested in the Cyberman but i would like to have all classic doctor available to pre order before anything else.


And for k9 its a licencing issue so no one knows when he will be available for the US.

For the James bond figures if i'm not mistaken they only have a year delay up to now and the issues right are with the ones who have the licence, Eon i think ? I'm not into James Bond so i'm not too sure.
With at least 11 doctor to release (not counting 1 since we still don't know they will do a new one ) and hoping for between 2-4 a year it shouldnt be too long. But including companion and vilain it will take longer before getting all doctors.

Don't worry we will definitly get them this year. The 3rd doctor will be here in may/june for sure. The 4th i think should be here around november/december unless they have to make changes. We were updated regularly for 3rd and 13th but they never spoke about 4th so i hope everything is going well.

Aren't they redoing the head and hair sculpts on Tom? Will be interesting to see how the revised versions look like

They were redoing the head before the pre order and once the pre order was up it was done ( you can see the render on big chief website) so normaly they shouldnt be any delay except if they change anything like they had to on pertwee head

Edit : weird i can't find the render on the pre order page anymore but it should have been on an email or on big chief facebook

I usually get e-mails from BC with updates on figures i have on pre-order. While i got a few updates on the Pertwee production piece i've got nothing so far on the revised Tom head sculpts...hence why i'm not over optimistic we'll see it released this year. Then again it's only March...

I haven't been following so pardon my ignorance, but the above makes mention of the Definitive Series... is that the same as the newly mentioned Definitive Edition Collection?

I ask because the last announcement did not include the 4th Doctor... and I'm unclear about the swappable faces that are also mentioned.

Yes the new definitive series fourth doctor is part of the definitive edition collection. They may have change the name of this line but its the same thing.
They didnt mention it in their last announcement simply because it is already available for pre order since december 2019.

And by swappable face i guess they meant that they will have more than one headsculpt.
