Looks like mine has shipped as a tracking number has been added to my order on the MR site

I ordered the 9th Doctor on the 10th and as of a hour ago it still hasn't shipped. Close to telling them to cancel and unsubscribe from their emails. Already burnt by Big Chief and almost at the point of getting out of the figure bit. Takes months and months to hopefully get a figure only to find out no you won't.Still nothing for me. Stuck in unfulfilled.
Thanks milo1164 and matrix69.
On another subject, I never purchased the second 10th doctor figure release from BCS, but I did cobble some parts from it to make one. My question is, while this was being released several years ago, there were some David Tennant KO heads on eBay. I picked one up and was actually surprised at how well it was painted. It was cast from a harder material than the normal BCS heads.
I know there are still some Matt Smith KO heads available, but I haven’t seen these since that time.
I’m kicking myself now for not getting more. Did anyone else pick one up when they were around?

Right there with you. Slowly edging out myself. There's one or two smaller items I kind of have my eye on, but nothing 1/6 and certainly not at those price points.I ordered the 9th Doctor on the 10th and as of a hour ago it still hasn't shipped. Those are very nice customs. And well made. I did wonder at the time Amy first appeared if female police officers in Britain really did wear mini skirts. The long legs on your Amy custom do resemble the actress' height very well.In the meantime, I replaced the head on my custom regeneration 11th and it pairs really well with my custom Amy and Rory.
Great custom work!I emailed MR and received another non-specific response on Monday about shipping time:
“Thanks for getting back in touch!
I'm really sorry for the delay shipping your order. The team are working really hard to clear the backlog and will get it shipped ASAP, but unfortunately we are still behind.
We do have these items in stock, so please advise if you are happy to wait for your order to ship?
Thanks and really sorry again,
Holly ”
Sadly, still no shipping updates.

From Financial Position Report…
“BCS Explanation of the causes of the Company’s failure:”
<More like a potted history>
<end>
The Directors sought additional funding via Funding Circle, who proposed to loan the Company £200,000. Tony Leetham, the former co-director, was not willing to personally guarantee any lending obtained, and as a result he chose to resign as a director and relinquish his remaining shares to the remaining director Mark Andrews. As sole director, Mr Andrews signed the funding agreement with Asset Advantage, agreeing to a second charge being secured against his personal property to support the business.
The fact that he secured against his personal property shows that he believed in the company and was doing everything he knew how to keep the company afloat. Certainly doesn’t speak towards any ill intent or inclination towards thievery.
As such, I don’t rejoice at all in his hardship. I lost $2000 of hobby dolls. He lost a lot more. Truthfully I don’t feel anything but bad for everyone. There is no silver lining here.

The thread needs to have BCS removed from it's title and just go with 1/6 Doctor who figuresPart of me never wants to post in this thread again because it just makes me angry thinking about how many people got screwed over
It might also indicate that he was deluded and out of his depth when it came to running a business.The fact that he secured against his personal property shows that he believed in the company and was doing everything he knew how to keep the company afloat. Of course he knew, and yet he still had the arrogance to come on this site a few months back and lie to customers.I agree with this to an extent, HOWEVER; that loan was taken out in 2017, when the company was in a reasonably good position and delivering on products, generating discussions and good will towards BCS. I would be optimistic, too.
I refuse to believe that he didn't know about the seriousness of the situation until very recently, as has apparently been shared with John Huff, moderator of the facebook page. That much debt doesn't just creep up on you!
I think he saw the writing on the wall last year but continued to take orders for fear of losing his home- I would be very interested to see which debts were prioritised and how much of the £200k was paid off compared to the other loans.
Whilst I agree that there are no silver linings in this for anyone, what they did still sucks so I definitely agree with the above. No way does that amount of debt just happen overnight…they must have known for a good long while, yet still kept taking orders, giving false promises and generally burying their heads in the sand over it. Pity we will never find out what this ‘reason’ is that they keep referring to.I agree with this to an extent, HOWEVER; that loan was taken out in 2017, when the company was in a reasonably good position and delivering on products, generating discussions and good will towards BCS.
