The thing that kills me dead is that companies make crap sculpts and when sales tank, they assume no one is interested in 12" scale.
Frankly, if they spent the money on quality sculpts and stuck them on crap bodies, they would still sell! Anyone can swap heads. Even costuming can be worked around. The sculpt is key to a figure selling well.
