Thanks to Forces of Destiny, there's a new canon depiction of Stormtroopers being turned into "Troopers on the Half Shell" by the Ewoks.

It certainly doesn't look like it's their first rodeo. Leia tries to stop them from committing a war crime since this is post Battle of Endor and they're technically POWs but the Ewoks are very persistent.

That is incredibly weird seeing the Disney logo at the bottom of those illustrations knowing they came with much younger kids' toys, not some jokey insert art in an adult-aimed BS figure or something.

Yeah up to the point of the battle of endor, Ewoks pretty much survived on crashed-landed families who fell for their warm Ewok "hospitality," before waking up the next morning as wokling food.

Those shots of him gingerly stepping forward are great. Very reminiscent of how a soldier would carefully move.

Looks great here. Since there isn’t much else I’m really interested in, I may get a few of these and 2 bike sets. The army building will happen when there’s a sale, hopefully. In an unrelated note, I just saw the bill for my wife’s hair salon. It’s basically a hot toy.

Tempted to get a second Scout to turn into a Storm Commando/Shadow Scout. Should be relatively simple to paint the armour black, dye the cummerbund black etc.

Slip a message to Hot Toys via their Facebook page and a shadow variant will pop up in a couple weeks after you’ve already gone through the trouble.

I’ve thought about doing that, though with SSC Scouts at first but I sold them. More recently with the Remnant Scouts since they’ll probably be cheaper to get as people go buy the ROTJ version and forget about the Remnant.

I like Storm Commandos a lot. I have a couple of Hot Toys Shadow Stormtroopers so I figured they’d look good together. They’re low priority right now but we’ll see.

And then three days after I finish the customs Hot Toys will announce it as convention exclusive.
