I'm debating it. I already have one on order, and that 10% off is tempting.Buy one and sell the Scout.

Maybe I missed something, what mod is this?Anyone tried the helmet mod yet?

Yeah, he’s a bit on the tall side. The stubby Sideshow Scout exaggerates it in that pic though. Is the HT Scout really tall?

By about 5/16 of an inch. Not sure what HT did on this one. He’s taller than the Nevarro scout. I may see if they put the longer ankle pegs on it. If so I have Gideon’s short ones that I could swap out.Is he taller than an HT Stormtrooper? It must be the extra long ankle pegs for articulation.
Interesting. I put the ROTJ Scout on the bike almost immediately so didn't do enough comparisons to notice that.By about 5/16 of an inch. Not sure what HT did on this one. I noticed the same thing about the Mando Scout. Just a bit more natural looking. I’ll try the shorter pegs if possible and see how it looks.Interesting. I put the ROTJ Scout on the bike almost immediately so didn't do enough comparisons to notice that.
The shorter ankle pegs might help for my non-bike scout.
I quickly put the two HT scouts (ROTJ/Mando) side by side and felt like the Mando Scout had a slightly more man-in-suit vibe for some reason. Maybe the height had something to do with throwing the promotions off. The main issue I noticed was that the arms seemed to hang a bit closer to the side on the Mando Scout. Figured that was due to the pouch placement.
Edit: Looking back I guess the Mando Scout was a little taller than the Stormie and Snowie.

Nice work. Looks great. This is the mando helmet that I got cheap to experiment on. Sorry that I didn't get a before pic of the separated parts, but it came apart easy enough, and these are the parts after being trimmed so as to eliminate the gap. There is a step at the bottom when put back together, and the last pic I've sanded the bottom smooth.
I'll give it another go on the ROTJ helmet whenever I can pic up a spare

He did indeed. There were pluses and minuses to both versions. The hot toys wasnt so much better to justify it if you have the ssc version.I can't be 100% sure but I think Justin compared them in his review videooooooh. I think the Hot Toys bike is marginally smaller than the Sideshow version.
Why ? The holster on the SSC boots is made for the teeny cricket blaster.BTW is there a way to change the Hot Toys Scout boots to the Sideshow ones?
