In posing a few different ways, I bent the flex rod a bit too much. Can I get another rod or do I need a whole new base? Also, any tips for getting the small bit out of the bike?

Other flexible rods screw into HT bases, so I think you could probably find one on eBay? I don't have this piece though. Is the end that's left in the bike threaded?

You can buy angle-nose pliers that have no teeth that *might* help unscrew it if you can reach a rim without chewing it up too badly ...

The end in the bike just plugs in, no threads. I can probably pick it out carefully.
