I really hope after Marty and Doc from part two that Hot Toys surprises us and does them from part three too.

I'd actually prefer the part three looks. The western looks would be something unique to have on display. I would take Doc in his radiation suit too though.

:exactly: :goodpost: I would love to see Part 3 versions of Doc and Marty! :rock

Marty and Doc dressed as well as associated accessories like this from part 3 would be awesome

BttF2 is my favorite BttF film, but I think the most iconic BttF display would be the current BttF Marty figure with the camcorder and a BttF 1985 radiation suit Doc with the control pad for the DeLorean.

I think there is a very good chance one the third party companies will make that radiation suit once the BttF2 Doc is released.

I really hope so. In fact I've been dreaming of just that since this was announced. But if that were the case, shouldn't it be up for pre-order already?

Unfortunately, the sculpt of the resulting figure would still have the "damn I'm late" expression.

However, it might work for this scene actually:

I'd perhaps just get the HT sculpt and kitbash a 1985 radiation suit Doc. The expression on the HT sculpt actually pairs better with the expression on the sculpt of the first Marty figure, to achieve that scene.

Only problem with that line of thinking is Doc looks 30 years younger in BTTF2

Not too different.

The old age makeup on Doc was pretty subtle and he certainly doesn't look decades older in the same way that George, Biff, and Loraine do. I never even really noticed it until I got the films on DVD.
When I first saw the films on video, I thought the joke behind Doc's rejuvenation procedure was supposed to be that he had all this work done and looked exactly the same.

Me too !!! ...and I still think that ! [emoji1]

Yeah I hardly ever noticed the aging on him. It was very subtle. I wouldn't have even known if not for the scene in the film where he takes off the prosthetics on his face.

I noticed the old age makeup as a kid but didn't know that Jennifer was played by two different people until the dvd came out. I had just assumed her look changed a bit between filming the first two movies. I'm dumb.

What chance of seeing an updated sculpt on this at SDCC? They confirmed pretty much as soon as it went up for pre-order it would be improved.

Im gonna say unlikely. They said the batman returns keaton sculpt was gonna be improved and even showed the updated one, yet the final product remained the same.

What an odd decision that was. :lol
I think they'll rework this especially after the seemingly widespread criticism of the prototype. Wonder Woman was improved greatly, hopefully same deal for Doc.
