When the whole point of these figures is how realistic they are I just don’t think exposed joints are acceptable. At that point they may as well not even have tailored outfits either.

If I didn’t care about joints I’d probably collect cheaper figure brands like Hasbro, Mafex, SH Figuarts, etc.

I’m glad HT seems to have moved away from jointed bodies for the most part.

Imo what makes these figures realistic is their realistic sculpts (Not in this case as Arcane is animated)
Hasbro, McFarlane and other companies never offer such high quality sculpts so comparing 1/6 jointed figures to the cheaper stuff doesn't line up.

I love the polarizing views on this. Even if certain designs are “animated” and stylized, they still have seamless limbs… Therefore, I would prefer seamless bodies and arms for my figures (ideally/if possible).

But that’s my point. I don’t see the point in having a realistic sculpting if the body doesn’t match.

All seamless bodies become jointed bodies eventually

Gametoys sold seamless arm sets for their Final Fantasy VII Cloud Remake figure and it sold lot like hot cakes. They made money, customers had replacements, everybody wins.

Gametoys could change the industry...

But AI says this about Gametoys: "Gametoys" is not a widely recognized major company in the toy industry.
