One, right here! This thing has been too much of a pain in my ass to let it ever leave the collection.

It's been years since they offered 13%, 30%, etc off deals on Hot Toys figures. And now it's discounts + free shipping to try to get rid of excess inventory and they are still having trouble moving some figures. It just goes to show they are making way too many of these and charging too much. So what do they do with Stealth Cap? - raise the price and artificially increased the demand, which results in a large number of people buying the figure just to try to resell.

Wow. I'm thrilled I was able to get Stealth Cap AND a 2nd HT at 30% off. It's amazing how the same situation generates completely opposite perspectives in different people.

Luckily for me I had the first release so I didn’t really care for this. A 30% coupon is nice enough for me.

That first release is still the only figure I've ever returned in my entire time of collecting, it was so terrible But at least it came with the blue shield.

I don't think it's the same situation generating different perspectives. You got the figure. Those that have a different perspective, probably weren't able to get the figure.

I was suspecting that this was a way to get rid of more Endgame Caps. After missing out on this, I’m tempted to just go for that one as my lone Captain America, especially at 30% off.

3 hours of server errors is not a question of patience. I was VERY patient. That didn't change not being able to make to the checkout.

Not everyone wants to jump through hoops and deal with site errors and issues during working hours to order a figure. And not everyone wants to pay a markup because Hot Toys limited the numbers for this figure. You're thrilled because you got the figure and you may have other figures you want that are 30% off. Others may not be happy because they weren't able to get the figure and already have the figures they want at 30% off (or don't want them). This is not the same situation for everyone. I doubt you'd have the same perspective, if you had to refresh the site for an hour or more and weren't able to get the figure. Or if you didn't see the email because you were busy with work.

Yeah, not trying to complain about this, but I first tried at 12:46 and tried through the waitlist until it finally sold out. In that time, there were multiple posts here of people successfully purchasing the figure. I’m not saying they were any less deserving, but I don’t know if they were necessarily more patient or tolerant.

I got the email from sideshow that it was available at 11:18am & order confirm email by 11:21am (CST), it was sluggish but not the server errors or anything at that point, I probably got in and out before the surge of people trying

I think after this entire episode, the amount of anxiety it's caused me, I'm done with Sideshow. Going to finish out my orders and I'm good. **** them and the entire mess of scalping community. That's my two cents, I have more important things to get worried over. I'm good now

Understand Tony. I actually went a step further and canceled all my pre-orders. About $3.5k. Just a drop in the ocean to them, but done with them totally after this cluster. Been with them since first Star Wars license 2016?.

Because it's the usual coupon code from them that can only be used for IN STOCK items and only for a limited time of course.
