It have special place in my heart but Incredible Hulk is just way better movie for me.

Nah the 2003 Hulk reminded me of Shrek. His facial expressions, the bright green, and the way he was running seemed to cartoonish.

I remember hearing this complaint as a child and I always thought it was funny. I never saw it that way. I mean sometimes he looked puffy in certain shots but he was a great hulk. The strongest we had.

Although I do prefer Norton Hulk (and Ang Lee's for that matter) Ruffalo was fine until the Battle of New York. The downward spiral began right about there.

Just curious but why do you say that? I thought he was ok until about age of ultron where he became more ape like and got knocked out by hulk buster.

Ruffalo was haunted and just a little frightening when Widow found him. When he was on the helicarrier with Tony he was a touch too whiney but you can let it slide. Battle of New York the terrifying monster begins to act a little more like a boisterous puppy, gets played for laughs when he punches Thor ...

... it's not awful but it foreshadows what's to come. Of course in Age of Ultron they began to really emasculate him.

Yes I agree. I think it was ragnorak when I saw how hulk wasn’t scary anymore but more of a big dog. Then he lost to thanos and was scared to come out. That’s when I pretty much hated the mcu hulk.

I rewatched it last night. Agree. Those shots of her in the chopper towards the end in San Fran, just stunning. The emotion on her face is gorgeous.

Battle Of New York...you mean from the first Avengers film? That was his debut film and first major battle. He was great there and stole the show. He took out a Leviathan with one punch. I remember everyone looking forward to seeing him for the first time.
