I don't think this sculpt is that bad! It's around 7/10 but definitely something is off, still it's way better than the Human Torch and Cap America which is so subpar to me. I suspect HT have changed their sculptor's. 2024 had the best year for sculpts.

They only had it up for one day though. I dont think that's usual no?
Yeah it's not, not sure how long they display for usually, some are longer than others e.g. IM Mark 42. Could be for an improvement or to make room for other figs released/to be announced. I think HT do a decent job at reacting to negative feedback so they'll likely make amendments.

I agree there's no reason to stop or lower prices because some people will buy Artisan no matter what. That's not what i'm disputing. I'm just echoing what the other said that this should be a sub $300 fig which in HKD terms it is. Value is subjective so we could go back n forth all day long, if it's $500 you'll buy it if you love Winter Soldier but vs Inart products that are also $500 (Paul Atredies, any of the Harry Potters), you're not getting the same bang for buck.

And actually the Patriot is exactly the same price as this at 2780 HKD, so yeah I do know.
2780HKD is $356 USD. If Iron Patriot is the same price in Hong Kong as Winter Soldier, well, Sideshow’s price for Iron Patriot is $425

No knife

No sniper rifle

No raccoon eyes

Not a great face

This is a PASS
No knife or rifle? Were those on the original?

I loved the Winter Soldier, it was the best MCU movie, but I think I am out on this. The value isn't there. I love the knife fight and that's a big ommission. I was already out, but I don't think I will even get back in.

I prefer sculpted over rooted. While the head sculpt is improved, it's not mind blowingly great.

It's NOT an easy pass for me, but with the probably 500 dollar Sideshow cost and probably Sideshow tax on an exclusive, it's a pass.

He comes with 3 knives just like the original. Two on the back and one in his holster.

He just doesn’t come with the larger one that’s part of a different holster from the knife fight as someone posted earlier.

The larger knife takes the place of the two smaller pistols in the holster that this figure comes with.

I can understand the frustration if that detail in particular is important.

You can still achieve the same look/feel with the other knives though. I honestly never knew he had a different holster for that scene until yesterday (thanks CF forum :lol ), but doesn’t bother me since I wouldn’t of known if it wasn’t for this place anyway

Most of their Artisan releases (MK, HQ, Loki, Dark Empire Luke, Scarlet Witch) have been in the $425 to $445 range with the exception of Ledger Joker and Jack Sparrow. I don't think Bucky is considered quite as iconic as those two so hopefully this follows suit.
