I had no interest in this figure, but can see why it was popular, great sculpt, STUNNING HAIR thing, real leather etc.

Besides this, Black Widow, Jack Sparrow and Joker does any of the other Artisans have a full new body/outfit etc made for them besides just rooted hair? Actually come to think of it they all do, except Anakin who is apparently just a new head on a reused body/outfit.

Not all artsians are artisans.

According to Joost of JazzInc, a typical figure run for Hot Toys is minimum 10,000 units. Artisans are 3,000 on average.

HT obviously has the resources to produce enough of these Artisan pieces to meet demand, they’d just rather **** us all about with manufactured scarcity and the worst lottery ordering system conceivable.

Not that I am a Hot Toys defender here, but if you're pointing blame at the ordering system... that one goes to Sideshow.

I dunno, I didn't have any of the errors and page failures this time that I experienced with Black Widow, whom I nearly didn't get because the place order button would not place and then the entire website crashed.

I don't want to downplay the frustrations of those who couldn't get Bucky, but he didn't go waitlist for over an hour; I think some of the other Artisans were gone in 15 minutes? People trying to queue up on 2-3 devices simultaneously probably isn't helping with the server errors. I would think anyone in the queue by 10:03 PT when the Sideshow email arrives with the order button should have been able to acquire one, but I know not everyone who wanted it got it.

That is the best shot of Bucky I have seen so far.

And yes, I think there is a good chance I will use my Endgame Cap sculpt for this, even if the hair is incorrect.

Keeping my original Stealth Cap. Might have gone for a new Cap if I thought the sculpt was stunning, but for me it's off. I've never been unhappy with my Strike suit set anyway. 2 figs, shields, etc. The good 'ol days when you got a lot of bang for the buck.

My definitive Cap is still the CW tho I own all of them.

Well he's not an "Artisan". They could do an "Artisan" with EG Cap and improve the scale maille. Don't see the point of worrying about hair that short.

PS. Always think these displays are funny with sold out figs. Like, yes, we made this, and no, you can't have one.

Agree with a YTuber tho my "notification" always seems to show up pretty late, this time about the same time of the actual purchase. Plus when I checked back it looked like the servers were clogged. Could be my e-mail but don't think notifications work very well either.

They look awesome together, but I can't agree with Cap being a "weaker" sculpt than Bucky.
IMO they both look amazing.

According to their live chat there was some system errors regarding payment so some people might want to check their orders as their deposits could say declined. They may have to manually push it through they said. I’ve still yet to received my deposit confirmation which is normally the next day.

Just a heads up. They said they shouldn’t cancel anyone’s order as it’s an issue on their end.

Mine doesn't say declined, but I have yet to receive a conformation email for the deposit and the "your payment" section is blank.

They looks great together!

While Stan is slightly shorter than Evans, the figure should be a bit taller. This has me thinking that the WS figure is on the original, shorter body

He looks a little short. Which drive me nuts the height disparity with the Civil War versions.

I just love that guy in that movie (and CW)

So, I just went and ordered the special edition from one man’s hobby (who I trust.)

$600 USD…
The figure definitely doesn’t have that amount of quality, especially with those hands, but that’s the price of acquiring an Artisan for an Englishman.

Pay half now and half upon release so, overall, it won’t feel like I’ve been royally mugged.

So I think I ended up with the Collectors Edition versus the Special Edition. I guess it was defaulting to the CE vs the SE. However, the CE was more exclusive and the SE comes with the shield

Kinda wanted the shield vs the exclusivity. How is that even exclusive? If you have the SE, lose the shield and now you have the more limited one
