Right? everyone else is loosing their minds over Starkiller and Revan, I'm over here with my mind blown over my favorite two murderbots.

I don't know who the other two are, but I knew these from Doctor Aphra.

These are more 'my kind of scum'. :lol

I finally started to actually read the related comics, rather than having previously just scrolled through them. Finished the 2015 Darth Vader series, where 0-0-0, BT-1 and Aphra first appeared, and have moved onto Doctor Aphra volume 1.

The stories are generally the kind I prefer, and are more reminiscent of the early expanded universe. Really hope Hot Toys make the 'Rogue Archaeologist' as well. The three need to be together, and would go well with the Ghost crew from Ahsoka, who I wanted to throw back in time anyway.

There are some people who claim to be " in the know" who are saying that Aphra is planned as well.
Time will tell if this is a "my dad works for nintendo" situation or not.

It would also be a good opportunity for HT to finally make Black Krrsantan, since he became the fourth member of the crew.

It scares me that BT went up for preorder but triple 0 hasn’t yet. Really hope we don’t end up in a Bespin Han situation. It’s one thing to not do Aphra but to tease the pair like this and not release the other would be cruel and frankly hurt sales of similar pairs for fear of the other half never happening.

I think we will be alright, we're only on Day 1 of the "Event".

Which begs the question, what else might be revealed? Two Legend characters and 2 murder bots isn’t much of an ‘event.’ Great, off the beaten path characters, but hopefully there is a bit more to come. Aphra being the very sorely missing character now.

I am also wondering that. Maybe a few more surprises and then some re-releases?

I can't think of a less desirable, more obscure, 3PO that HT could have followed up their ROTJ 3PO with.

Out of all the 3PO variants both iconic and obscure - ANH dirty/desert, ANH clean/ceremony, ESB blown apart Bespin/backpack, white Hoth K-3PO, chrome TC-14 etc - they go with this super-obscure scissorhands comic version.

Probably because no one will complain it is inaccurate

LOL is that an R5 Droid with monster shoulder cannons! :lol
Reminds me of something from the 90s when everything had to be super eXtreme!!! outrageous gimmick.
Characters figures of every franchise were all roided up, and had to have massive canons and gear on their shoulders
