Video here shows a thin cable going from the base under the robe, presumably to the LED lightsaber. (@21min mark).

At least this would give some flexibility for posing and still hide the LED cable behind.

Yep just did the same.

When they release a battle damaged Vader with partial Haydn sculpt to go with this guy it'll be game on !

Imagine two LED powered lightsabers (hooked in to display lighting) and facing off with levitating rocks. Will look pretty epic in the display imo.
